Heavy loads can make the rear of your vehicle sag, throwing off braking, steering, and headlight aim. The Air Lift 1000 Universal Air Spring Kit adds up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support inside your rear coil springs to keep things level and in control. By sharing the work with your factory suspension, it helps reduce tire wear and strain on OEM components while keeping handling smooth under load.

Every load is different, and this setup lets you fine-tune air pressure for each trip. Inflate anywhere from 5 psi up to 35 psi for coil springs with greater than 1" spring pitch, or up to 50 psi for less than 1" spring pitch. You can fill each spring independently through included Schrader valves to even out off-center loads. Add a compressor system later if you want in-cab control, but the manual setup works great for simple, reliable adjustment.

These tough polyurethane air springs fit right inside your rear coils to soak up bumps and keep the ride steady. They help reduce sway and absorb road shock so your vehicle stays stable and comfortable whether you’re towing a trailer or hauling heavy cargo. With fewer jolts and less bounce, you’ll feel more confident on highways, curves, and uneven roads.
Installing extra support doesn’t have to be complicated. This universal kit mounts directly inside your vehicle’s rear coil springs using basic tools. It comes complete with 2 air springs, heat shields, tubing, Schrader valves, and hardware. Just measure your coil’s inside height and diameter to pick the right version from the included sizing chart, then bolt it in for dependable load support every time you tow or haul.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at these Air Lift 1000 universal air helper springs. Now, as you probably know, hauling and towing heavy loads can cause the back of your vehicle to sag and add unnecessary stress to your suspension. This stress not only affects your brakes in a bad way, but your tires and headlight aim and handling. Your handling suffers, as well. So, to improve your vehicle's ability to endure heavy loads, you need to add support to your existing coil springs.
These springs are made here in the USA of a durable polyurethane and they install inside of your vehicle's rear coil spring suspension. They are going to provide 1000 pounds of load leveling support to improve safety and ride quality on your vehicle, and they will support your existing rear coil spring suspension when you're hauling or towing heavier loads. It's gonna keep it level, and they will improve steering and braking performance and help maintain your head lighting. And they will even reduce tire wear and suspension strain. Now, these are going to diminish sway and absorb road shock and improve stability and your ride quality.
The air pressure in these springs are adjustable for greater than one inch spring pitch from five PSI to 35 PSI and less than one inch spring pitch from five PSI to 50 PSI. And you can manually adjust the air pressure to get even load distribution and support that you need. And with the installation of dual air lines, you can inflate each spring independently for side to side leveling of any off center loads. The manual inflation valves are typically mounted on your bumper, so they will be easy to reach for you and for even more convenience and control, you can even add a compressor and a gauge system which are sold separately, and that's gonna let you monitor and automatically inflate your air springs. And you can find those options, those compressor options, on the related product section of this product page.
Now, this kit includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're gonna get your two air springs. You're gonna get four spacers. You're gonna get air line, two Schrader valves and also some heat shields and all the hardware that you're going to need to install this, along with instructions to walk you through the installation process. Now again, the load leveling capacity is up to 1000 pounds.
However, I do wanna note that these springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So, you wanna make sure that you do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Holy cow, so it’s been over a year, I have had no problems at all matter fact, I forgot the airbags were even on there, they’ve held air once I got them where I want them. I have not even touch them they work fantastic, like I said 10 years ago I used them on the wife’s car and I came back because it’s such a great product, kudos to airlift.

Another year and the bags are still working great. They are used every time we do a trip with our camper. No issues note: you will experience minor pressure decrease over time but nothing major.
