The Yakima BaseLine FX Roof Rack keeps the crossbars tight to the roofline for a clean, integrated look. The flush design means there’s no bar extending beyond the towers, giving it a low-profile, from-the-factory style that blends in naturally. It’s streamlined without sacrificing strength, keeping your setup looking sharp whether parked or on the move.
You can tell these bars were built to stay quiet. The aero-style aluminum crossbars reduce drag, while the push-down rubber strips in the top channels help minimize whistling and vibration when you’re cruising down the highway. The strips also seal the channels once your gear is mounted, keeping noise under control and airflow smooth.
From kayaks to cargo boxes to bike racks, this setup is ready for whatever adventure you have planned. The crossbars are compatible with most bike, watersport, snow, and cargo carriers that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. That flexibility makes it easy to switch between activities without needing separate racks.
Built from aluminum and rated for a 165-lb weight capacity (always follow your vehicle’s roof limit), these bars are tough enough for heavy gear like tents, watercraft, or camping equipment. The integrated system combines crossbars, towers, and a custom fit kit to deliver solid performance trip after trip.
If you want extra peace of mind when parked, the rack is ready for Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). This lets you lock down both the rack and any channel-mount accessories using one key—simple protection for your setup when you’re away from your vehicle.

I’ve lost a second cover. Some shifting of the rack but I use it weekly.
