Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're taking a quick brief look at a replacement torque key for the Rhino Rack accessories. Now folks, this is a short key as we're calling it. We do have a taller version you can find on our website separately. And what this is is just a security torque key for Rhino Rack accessories. And if you see inside the middle there, it's kinda hollowed out, and it's a hexagon shape.
And basically, it's engraved on the plastic as well. It says it's rated for four to five Newton-meters whenever it's straight. So if you can see it's curved here, whenever you're tightening down your screws or bolts, you want this to flex until it's straight in one straight line. And that's when you know it's at the correct torque of four to five Newton-meters. So you're gonna get quantity one, and this is again by Rhino Rack.

However, the Hex tool I ordered doesn't fit the bolt as well as it should. It is a tad small so that if I crank on it too hard to tighten, it slips. I was hoping for a snugger fit for my roof rack bolts.
