Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this heavy duty air rivet gun with the four different size nose pieces. Now, this is a nice air hydraulic riveter. It's ideal for setting blind rivets and aluminum steel and stainless steel. And it is designed to perform well at any angle.
Has an air relief valve that'll prevent overloading. And it comes with all the pieces here laid out on the table. Comes with the spanner wrench, comes with the spanner nose piece wrench that's used to install your nose pieces to there. It comes with a safety cap and a nut here. The replacement O rings, the hanging clip, and then the four different size nose pieces right down here.
And they run from three 30 seconds to one eighth of an inch to five 30 seconds up to three sixteenths of an inch.Few specs on this again. The maximum capacity rivet size is the three 16 inch size. Does use an air hose size of three eights of an inch. And it'll connect to the quick connector right down here. The maximum air pressure is 90 PSI.
Average air consumption on this is four cubic feet per minute. And the pounds of pull is 1,584 pounds. Overall heighth on this from the bottom to the very top of the unit is about 11 inches. And the weight is a little over three pounds. Does come with a nice owner's manual.
That'll describe how everything operates, how to maintain it.But basically, what you would do is to pick your size for the rivet you're going to use. And just start it into the nose there and then take your wrench and then just tighten it with the wrench. And then you're ready to use that size. And if you need to change it out, just take your wrench, loosen it, put the other size in. Once you put your rivet in there and your airlines hooked up there, just pull this to shoot the rivet into where you need to. And the mandrel part of the rivet will come back down out of the, down here by the safety cap. So it protects that from doing any damage.
