Will the Rhino-Rack SG Roof Rack Work With a Thule or Yakima Roof Box

Question:

Hi, Im looking to purchase Item # RRSG59 and would like to use that with either a Yakima or Thule cargo box. A couple of questions. Will these racks work? And, which box? Id like to get a box thats large enough for a couple of suitcases and maybe skis. Thank you,

Yes, the Rhino-Rack SG Roof Rack part # RRSG59 will work with pretty much any brand of roof box including Thule, Yakima, Inno, SportRack etc. I recommend the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH6358B or the Yakima SkyBox 18 Rooftop Cargo Box part # Y07336 which are a good size and should fit a few suitcases/skis no problem. I personally like the Thule Force XT a bit more due to the matte finish which blends in more and it is physically lighter but it really just comes down to preference between this and the Yakima SkyBox.
