I’ve never had a Rhino Rack before. Much of the rack is plastic, but seems secure and looks nice. I’m grateful, because this is the only rack built to fit my Toyota Rav 4 . It’s not noisy and doesn’t seem to affect my mileage1477717

Installed this and 65" Vortex Areo crossbars on a 2015 RAM 5500 chassis cab/crew cab. It is listed to fit 1500 to 3500 RAM's and neither Rhino-Rack or etrailer would confirm it would fit the 5500. My research suggested there was not much, if any difference, between the 3500 and 5500 crew cab, so ordered it any way. Installation was relatively easy, fit seemed to be good and have made multiple 200-300 mile trips with a 75lb kayak. Good price, great customer service and fast delivery through etrailer.1422974

Neither Rhino-Rack nor etrailer.com have tested the roof rack on a 5500 ChassisCab, which is why we couldnt confirm the fit.

The rack was fairly easy to mount on my Durango. I was able to load my kayak from the side since I have a bike rack on the rear. I use a bathroom rug and flip the boat up on the car, then slide the boat directly onto the rack. I only carry it this way for short drives to local lakes. There is some wind noise at 50 mph.1471974

We originally got this rack system (Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof Item #DK427) mostly for our Kayak racks on our 2015 Ford F-150, which worked great. Then we totaled our F-150 and the racks actually fit on our new 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 HD P/U. We took it on a 16,000 mile trip from the East Coast to Alaska with both 12 ft. kayaks on the top. Through the various speeds (sometimes up to 80 mph), weather conditions, and the high crosswinds of the mid-West, the racks help up perfectly. No issues or problems. I would recommend these to anyone.1409841

I've had this Rhino Rack 2500 series for one year. I've outfitted the rack with one "J hook" style kayak holder and one "cradle" kayak holder. I am able to securely travel with two kayaks on the roof of my 2014 Honda Civic sedan without issue. During the one year I've had this rack I've traveled over 1,000 miles with two 12 foot+ kayaks on my roof. I can set cruise control at 70mph and not worry about the rack failing. I rate it four (4) stars because the cradles will sometimes move during a long drive and have to be readjusted. This is something that is more cosmetic in the since it looks slightly off, however it does not affect the racks security.1400504

After a year the rack has stood the test of time and daily use. I've set it properly and for the most part forgotten about it. I've used the rack to haul a ton of furniture properly tied down to my sedan's roof.Ive also postponed getting a larger car by gaining space in the roof box. I still recommend this product.1452173

Fit my Honda CRV perfectly and the whole kit was easy to install. The cargo box I ordered for in the racks perfectly. Of course there was some noise when traveling, and also reduced gas mileage, but that is to be expected. The very slight whistle when driving at higher speeds was easy to tune out. I bought these to be able to haul 4 kayaks on the roof of my 2017 Ram Mega cab while pulling our fifth wheel. We have use the Rhino Rack several times including a trip from Kentucky to Montana and back with no issues. I highly recommend the Rhino Rack for extra cargo capacity on top of your pickup. The instructions were good and installation was pretty straight forward. I plan to take the system off in the winter which will be easy to do.1397220

I bought this last yr to haul my kayaks on my Toyota camry. Being 5'2", getting them on top of my SUV was next to impossible for me and my daughters. Since then, I have traveled from Michigan, all the way to the west coast with two 13' ft kayaks. These racks have been absolutely perfect in every aspect. I mounted them myself, and checked them regularly to see if they needed adjusted. Not once did they loosen or move. They with stood Traveling with speed limits reaching 80 mph on I84, along with the windy weather on our cross-country trip. My car moved around from the high winds, and the racks stayed put. These racks have by far reached and surpassed every expectation I had when purchasing them. I would not recommend another. Only thing I would recommend is showing installation for both front and back bars, since the measurements are slightly different for both. As I had to figure this out my self, after watching the installation video. Thank you Rhino for providing such a high quality product.1298919

Very impressed with this rack system so far! Was hesitant at first based on some reviews talking about wind noise, but with the windows up I can hear almost no difference. The noise isolating strips are inside the rack after removing the end cap, so be sure to give them a good shake before assuming they are missing (as per the instructions). The boxes arrived undamaged.

Everything was individually packaged, except the bolts, washers & lock washers. (They were floating around free in the box.)

There were also no decals stating Right Rear, Right Front, Left Rear or Left Front, like the instructions specifies.

The metal straps has scuff marks like they have been used.

One screw that attaches leg to rail was almost stripped out but I'm not taking it apart for a picture...

After over an hour installing the front, I took it apart and swapped out one leg and then it worked fine.
Since nothing was marked I had a front and a rear paired up which didn't work, of course. After that, the back bar installed in less than 5 minutes.

I'm confident if this would have been a new packaged item (with the decals) it would have taken less than 20-30 minutes to install.

I have 7 pics showing all I listed above but this form will not allow me to post the pics.1174730

Still holding strong! even after 240+ lbs on a 1200 miles trip!! Would definitely purchase again..

Excellent product! I installed this roof rack on my brand new 2020 Honda Civic Sport. Since my car has dual center exhaust, a hitch mount was not an option. I paired it with the RockyMounts Brass knuckles wheel on bike carrier. It was straight forward to install and for over a year everything has worked flawlessly. Obviously I take a hit on fuel economy especially at highway speeds with 2 bikes on the roof. I recently took a road trip and averaged about 31 mpg (would be about 38 mpg with no racks or bikes). However without bikes, I was averaged about 35 mpg which isn't too much impact. The Rhino Racks were a little bit less expensive than the competition but no compromises at all. Definitely recommend these Rhino Racks and RockyMounts Brass knuckles bike carrier.1138335

After one year, everything is still working great. The only observation is that the car window seals are worn or slightly torn at the rack clamp locations. I guess the same issue could happen with any add on rack. Im not sure if this will become an issue or not but Ill keep an eye on it.
