Today we're taking a look at the Snap-Loc E-track Tie down anchors with the included Cam buckle ladder safety strap.Now this kit is designed to let you secure a ladder to a tree or pole, providing extra security when using your ladders. Basically, the anchors are designed to mount to your ladder and then you can attach the strap to one side, loop it around the tree or the pole and then attach the other anchor to the other side where the E-track would be and hook it and then pull out any slack which would secure the ladder to a tree or to a pole.It comes with two zinc E-track anchors, one E-strap with the Cam buckle design and then it comes with your hardware, so you get four carriage bolts, four flat washers and four locknuts.Now the anchors are made from thick, ten gauge steel with a durable zinc plated finish to resist rusting corrosion. Each one measures 5 3/4 inches long by one inch wide by 1/2 inch deep. The holes measure 5/16 by 5/16 and they're separated on five inch centers. The strap is made of rigid polyester webbing with the built in zinc plated Cam buckle and the built in zinc plated E-track fittings. These fittings are designed to easily secure inside the anchors.
It's got the quick release, so you lift up on the lever and you can easily detach it. These anchors can be used or they will accept standard E-track fittings as well, other accessories.The strap measures two inches wide by eight feet long and it has a sewn on hook and loop fastener for easy storage. Also, you can use this to secure any of your excess strap, so if you have excess strap, place it in here, bring it over and it'll secure it safely out of the way.Overall it's a really nice design. Very easy to use. The Cam buckle right here is really nice as well to pull out the slack or to tighten the strap.
All you gotta do is pull on this end and then to loosen it, you press the release lever, give the strap a tug on that end and that's going to loosen your strap.The maximum load or break strength rating is 3000 pounds. An awesome product! I use these all over my trailer to tie stuff down - I love the flexibility of not having a long strip of E-Track to worry about - this really is a smart call for those that like having things truly custom!
These single brackets work great for mounting single items. I used this item for a spare tire mount inside my cargo trailer.
Great product. Using these instead of a strip of e-track because it's much easier to install. Yes, I do lose versatility in attachment points but these cut my install time way down and I was able to get it done by myself rather than having a second set of hands. All of the e-track accessories fit and work perfect with this product.
These brackets work great for spaces where I need to mount E-Track accessories, but don't need to have a length of E-Track mounted.
This is the second time I have bought these. They work great and you can put them where you want. I use them down low where I don't have an Etrack and placed them front, middle, and rear of bed. Increases options, especially if you have the E-ring attachments to use regular ratchet straps or rope.

After I placed my order. I received an confirmation email and when e-trailer realized that the Snap-Loc E-Track Anchors that I ordered were out of stock. I received a phone call informing me of this. Then the lady on the phone suggested other options of the same product that were in stock. She also let me know that the product I originally wanted would be in stock and ship by weeks end. But later that same day I received another phone call telling me that my product came in and had shipped.
After I had received my order in the mail I had some questions about what I had received. So a called the 1-800 number. Conveniently etrailer applied a sticker to the outside of my package that included the 1-800 number, order #, items ordered. This was Super Helpful. But the lady on the phone was able to pull up all my info from my phone # as soon as I called. She walked me thru my questions and also walked me thru the steps I would need to purchase the items that I forgot to order.

Perfect for when you don't need a whole etrack strip
The Snap-Loc e-track single anchor is even better than I imagined. This is one heavy duty tie down for e-track that fits nicely in tight spaces like corners or where you don't really need a full length of e-track. I am not normally overly impressed with most products, and expect them to function as advertised. However, I believe you would break the mounting bolts or strap before these anchors would fail! The price was competitive and customer service was exceedingly nice (thanks Melinda E).
So, here we are, one year later...... These things are great - We use these in an enclosed trailer for tying down equipment, motorcycles, and what seems like all of the relatives' furniture, at one time or another.
They're mounted on the walls and in corner areas with lag screws into the cross members and they're working very well.
This is the third set of these I have bought. I install them in the tailgate jam of my pickups. Out of sight and out of mind until I need them to tie a load down that rides on the open tailgate. It’s a perfect place for a removable anchor point.
I'm a High School Band Director who uses a trailer to get instruments from performance venue to school and back. My previous trailer didn't have any E-track hardware and I just did the best we could. There was always a great deal of shifting of equipment during transport. Now that my current trailer has E-track hardware, I can secure all of my equipment easily and quickly reorganize the entire trailer according to the job's requirements. If you've not got E-track, get it. It's more than worth it's cost in saving of time and convenience.

Modified this cargo trailer to haul RC airplanes(too big to fit in my pickup) and remove the upper deck to make it useful for hauling other items. This makes a truly utility cargo trailer. Numerous tie downs with Etrack is really great. I have other pics if your interested. I just purchased an enclosed car hauler and I plan on installing Etrack in it. Thanks for making great products !
These are just the thing to bolt to your trailer. I bolted them to mine and am now a legend at the boat ramp. Genius they call me. Bungee cords are for chumps.
Fast shipping and great price. Although I haven’t hauled with it yet, it seems to be well made and better than traditional straps. I should have used all grade 8 hardware but that will have to wait for now. The hardware needed was 1/4” bolts. I used 2 1/2 “ length for my trailer that has standard 2x6 pressure treated lumber.
Yet to be installed and tested.
Be sure to order both parts to make up a very secure tie down that is removable when not in use.

Excellent option for securing the 4 wheeler and other loads on my utility trailer. It was always a fight to get the straps in the right place until I bought these.
Nice anchors. The only issue I had was I needed to put a washer on the bold head because the square opening is so big. Not a big deal but something I didn't think about when I got these.
I have 8 of these installed in the bed of my truck. I have had them about 1 year now and LOVE them, since they are low profile and rounded when not in use they stay out of the way, and wen you do need to tie something down you just snap in a etrack tie off ring or etrack accessory of choice and your ready to roll. The 6 in the bed of my truck are bolted down with the SLHCBDS-P anchor kit and are solid. The 2 in the tailgate are for very light duty, I plan to and recommend if you do the tailgate install to use the bolt SLHCBDS-P anchor kit.

I needed to create a way to lift the camper shell off my truck so I bought four of these snap-loc singles and bolted them to each corner of the topper's roof through the fiberglass to a couple 2x4s on the underside. These anchors paired with a set of 4 ring tie down anchors that I bought separately and I've now got a very effective method of lifting the topper off the truck or tying light cargo to the roof of my truck.
