Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the 90 degree Hook and Keeper set. This is going to allow you to hold your RV or trailer door open and because of the 90 degree angle of our hook arm here, we will be able to use this around awning arms, so we can securely connect all of our doors despite the obstacles. So basically, if you're not familiar with the way this works, you'd attach this to either your door or the side of your RV or camper. And then attach this piece again either to the door or side of the camper. So if you have this on the door, you'd want this on the side of the camper.
So that as you open up the door, you can simply slide it into that piece and it's not going to allow the door to swing shut. So if a gust of wind or something we're to come along, this would keep that door open so you don't have to worry about it slamming, causing any damage to yourself or others. This is a stainless steel construction, so it's going to hold up well. You're not going to have to worry about rust or corrosion, anything like that. It does come with 12 of these inch and a quarter long stainless steel mounting screws to get that installed. I'll give you the link there just to make sure that for your application it's not going to go through and cause any problems.
I want to make sure that your screws are the appropriate length. I do want to give you a few dimensions here. Make sure this is going to work for your set up.So both brackets are the same size, right about three inches long. By, call it an inch and a three quarters of an inch wide. Again, that's the same for both of them.
Three inches, inch and a quarter, sorry, inch and three quarters. And then our arm, when we have that added in to the equation, it's going to take the overall length out to about five and a half inches. If we move this back to give you the distance of the arm itself, it's right about four inches. So overall, I think it's going to do a good job giving you the opportunity to keep your door open on your RV or travel trailer. It does come with a lifetime warranty so you can trust that they're going to stand behind their products. It's going to do a good job for you. That's going to complete our look at the 90 degree Hook and Keeper.
Thanks for watching.
