At the pivot points, polyurethane bushings replace soft rubber, resisting oil, gasoline, and ozone. They keep their shape and support longer so the system stays tight and consistent over time.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the included heavy-gauge mounting hardware and clear instructions. The bar bolts to the rear axle and chassis without drilling, and bushing lubricant is included for smooth operation. Online said exact for GMC 3500. It is actually for a GMC 1500, 2500. sent it back.
Box was open. Parts everywhere and it looked like someone drove over the box.The swaybar does work with air bags and handling is a big improvement loaded or not.
This ant-sway bar has changed the ride and the handling of the truck I wish I had got one sooner..
Well the sway bar was fine,had to offset just a little 1/4”due to the after market rearend cover.also had to turn axle clamps downwards a little.
Second rear sway bar I've bought for Cevy trucks. Looks like it'll be perfect. Got it installed, because of overhead (arctic fox) camper. Had one before with our old '09 truck, and this is the same application, only newer 3/4 ton truck. Helps with camper sway allot.
Very pleased with both the quick service etrailer provided, and also the sway bar. It was at my door in 48 hours! The rear sway went on a GMC 3500HD dually which carries a very heavy truck camper, and it pretty much eliminated sway out of the system. Highly recommend!
The Roadmaster was easy to put on and works good, At this time I have a large Truck Camper (Lance 1172) on my GMC 3500HD DRW CC right now, but in spring I will be towing our a 43ft Voltage Toy Hauler.
This gets a strong DO NOT BUY from me. The instructions on this were so bad I had to give a decent product this poor of a rating. The instructions were copied off sheets with pictures so poor they were impossible to use. The wording was vague and did not cover some important items, leaving you to figure stuff out. Making this worse was the lack of product support from roadmaster (like a video or something). Worse yet was the fact that they placed their roadmaster label upside down on the sway bar, making things that much more confusing and further wasting my time. I would say just dont bother, there are other brands (like helwig) that have much better customer support. I doubt I will buy anything else from roadmaster.
This sway bar is the real deal. Easy to follow instructions but I had it installed because I'm lazy. It took one hour labor

After one year I can tell you all that this sway bar really helps in windy conditions with my Wolf Creek 890 on the bed. Less lean and easier to counter the gusts of wind you get when passing large trucks.
