Do 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar End Links have a Torque Spec

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/15/2024

Question:

I just installed this roadmaster bar on my 2019 Sierra 2500 HD. I was surprised to find the instructions did not have torque values for the bolts among other things in these, the worst directions I have ever seen this side of china. Common practice is to leave these bolts snug and then torque to spec with the vehicle on the ground? Can you please advise?

Hey Bill,

The end links on your Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1109-169 will need to be snugged up and then turned another 1/8 to 1/4 turn. There aren't any torque specs for these which is why you didn't see anything in the instructions, although I do agree that Roadmaster could be a bit more clear on this in their instructions.

I confirmed all of this with my contact at Roadmaster.

Hey Bill, how did things turn out after snugging and giving the end links that extra 1/8 to 1/4 turn on your Sierra’s Roadmaster sway bar? Did that tighten everything up the way you expected? Your feedback could really help others setting up the same bar.
