Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Ventline black low profile roof cap. Now, this roof vent is designed specifically to help your bathroom fan do its job properly by pushing moisture out of your home. So instead of letting humid air linger, which can lead to mold or damage, this is going to vent everything safely through your roof. Now, one of the nice things about this is how low profile it is. It only sticks up about two and three quarters inches above the roof line when you have this installed, so it doesn't look bulky or out of place.
The black finish is also gonna help it blend in with most roofing material. So it's not something that's going to draw attention, and this is made to work with standard bathroom fan setups with a three-and-one-eighth-inch outlet. This is gonna fit typical duct sizes. Insulation's gonna be pretty straightforward. If you have a sloped roof, this is designed for roofs with a three-12th pitch, and it sits about two inches below the roof line for a secure fit.
As for durability, this is built from tough plastic that can handle outdoor condition, so should hold up well against weather over time. Overall, it's gonna be a simple, clean-looking solution that's gonna do exactly what you need it to do, quietly and efficiently vent moisture out of your bathroom without messing up the look of your roof. Let me just give you some measurements here. We're sitting at about 10 and three quarters inches, let's say this is long by about 10 and one eight inches wide, and, of course, this is all just rough measurements, the overall thickness or height, about four and a half inches or so.
