Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer gas strut. So this gas strut is kind of like the support arm that you see holding things up like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. Its main job is to make sure that the opening and closing of that compartment door is gonna be smoother and safer. And this is built to last, with a durable black finish.
And lining this up here, I'm going to just give you the length, the measurement of the length. Measuring center of socket to center of sockets, so hopefully you can see, 26 inches. And this is going to give you about 100 pounds of lifting force, which is gonna help take some of that weight off when you lift something like a cargo door or a bed platform. Instead of slamming it shut, the strut is going to control the movement, so it opens easily and closes in a more controlled way. As you can see, this is going to be a ball socket insulation.
This does not include any hardware. So this will just attach your current, your current ball studs that you're needing to replace that strut on. I think it's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

We replaced the gas struts on the rv king size bed that came with our 5th wheel with these because after we upgraded the mattress the original ones couldn't support the weight.
