Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer Gas Strut. Now, this is a gas strut. It's the kind of support arm that you see holding up things like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments, and its main job is to make opening and closing smoother, safer, and easier. This is built to last. It has a durable black finish.
Retrieving my tape measure here. Measuring center of socket to center of socket, as I hope you can see, we're at 14 inches. This is gonna give you about 25 pounds of lifting force, which helps take some of the weight off when you lift something like a cargo door or bed platform. So, instead of slamming it shut, this struts gonna control the movement so it opens easily and closes in a more controlled way. This is pretty versatile as well.
Again, you're gonna be able to use this on your RV beds, entry doors, truck caps, really, any compartment that needs a little lift assistance. This does not come with any hardware, so this will mount to your current ball studs. It's a ball-and-socket installation, so you'll just reuse your hardware. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
