Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this GE Appliances 13,500 BTU White Deluxe Ductless RV Air Conditioner System with heat pump. Now, this is gonna be a great option for you to consider if you're looking to upgrade or add an air conditioner system on your RV's ductless system in your small or medium sized camper. This 13,500 BTU per hour air conditioner is going to cool evenly and it does have a built-in heat pump for those chilly mornings. And this is all coming from a brand name that you've known and trusted.
And this is going to use the more energy efficient R32 refrigerant, which does meet the 2025 EPA regulations. So, because of that, this is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioner systems from 2024 and earlier. This will be a bolt-on installation with the included hardware that you see there. And this is going to fit roofs from two to six inches thick with an opening size of 14 3/8ths inches long by 14 3/8th inches wide. And this does measure, looking at the length first, right at 32 13/16th inches long.
The width, 26 1/8th inches wide and 13 15/16ths inches tall. The unit itself weighs a little under 80 pounds. And this is gonna run pretty quiet for you because the motor has sound dampening grommets to help reduce that annoying humming and vibration sound. And as I mentioned, this does include a heat pump. And as you probably know, the heat pump's gonna pull warmth from the air to heat the inside of your RV on those chilly mornings.
And this should be a pretty easy swap for most RVs. This is going to seamlessly install over your roof's pre-existing roof vent opening. And this has been built tough for going down the road. This is constructed of high grade materials. It's gonna withstand extreme UV rays and that constant vibration that you get from traveling down the road.
This does feature this white hard automotive grade polymer shroud, and that's gonna do a great job of protecting the internal components from water, dirt, debris. Can easily be removed. If you need to do any maintenance, you can do some cleaning and things like that. And then, replace the shroud. There's four Phillips head screws that's secured in place, so it's gonna be a very easy operation. The wiring harness is tucked underneath inside the unit. So when you get this installed, all you have to do is pull that wiring out from underneath and get that plugged into place. And you do need to keep the rear of this unit at least 18 inches away from any obstructions when you're installing this. Let's take a closer look at this side of the table at the components that's included. So, we have our air distribution box here. And so, this is also built to handle road vibrations and everyday RV life. Looking at the width and the length, it's gonna be at 21 inches. And then, when you have this installed up in your ceiling, it's gonna come down about to 2 1/2 inches or so, so it doesn't take up a whole lot of head space. And then, taking a look at our thermostat, this is obviously a white thermostat. It's single zone. We have easy to use buttons and a great large backlit display. Very easy to get this installed as well on your wall with the included hardware. So, it's gonna be very easy to see the settings and set everything that you want to, as you want it on your system. And then, this does include this fireproof control board or control box. And so, this is as no doubt, you know, the brain basically that manages how your air conditioner runs and operates. So, that is included. So basically, as you can see, everything is included with this system to get you up and running. And this is all coming from the trusted GE brand. A name that's very well known for durable, long-lasting appliances inside of your house. You're gonna get that same reliability with this system inside of your RV as well. Now, we do have other systems available from GE, so if maybe you're looking for a higher rated BTU unit or a system that works with a ducted system instead of a ductless system, we do have other options available here. So, you can take a look and see which AC unit system is gonna work best for you from GE here at etrailer.com. I haven't installed the AC unit yet. I just wanted to say that the ordering process is extremely easy to complete the transaction process. Checking out of the cart is routine and completed in minutes. I was on the road traveling and decided to order the AC unit and have it delivered to my house. Checking out process has the option to deliver your order to an E-Trailer trusted agent business. I requested to have the AC unit delivered to a trusted agent near my traveling location. who work with E-trailer. The agent was extremely helpful loaded in my truck. Just waiting to get it installed this sometime this week.
