Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Cross Shaft for your Lippert Universal Landing Gear. Now this is designed to reconnect the two landing gear legs on a Lippert power landing gear system. So it's going to work together properly again. And the cross shaft, as you know, acts as the link between both sides helping keep the landing gear synchronized during operation. When installed, it's going to help ensure that the landing gear is going to raise and lower, smoothly and evenly, which can improve overall performance, and prevent one side from getting out of sync with the other.
So again, this is made to work specifically with the compatible Lippert power landing gear assemblies. So it's gonna be important to verify compatibility with your existing setup before purchasing. Let me see if I can try to give you some measurements. Looking at what I'm calling the outer shaft first. We are sitting pretty close to, if you can see that, about 32 1/4 inches long.
And this is going to be right at an inch. And then looking at our inner tube, and I'm just gonna stick it out like that just a little bit. So obviously this is going to be longer. Looks like at about 41 inches. And this is gonna be 3/4 of an inch thick.
You are going to get this hardware here. Another advantage is that installation's gonna be really straightforward, and it's gonna require minimal assembly. So it's gonna be a practical replacement if what you currently have is worn out, damaged, or missing. But I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
