Can I Buy Just the Jensen Antenna or do I Need to get a Whole New Kit?

Question:
Hi, I have a 2015 Lance 2295 travel trailer with the Jensen stereo and Jensen 44US01R antenna, with the antenna snapped off above the ball joint and just a stub of the antenna left. The ball joint assembly is intact. There is only the stub of the mast left above the ball, along with ball and roof mount plate. Can I just buy the new Jensen antenna assembly and transfer the new rubber antenna to my existing ball mount? Is this just unscrewing the screw in the ball and swapping the two antennas out? Thanks for your help. FYI Just for information My Jensen antenna assembly, above the roof, is chrome plated pot metal. I also have a photo if needed.

Thanks for writing in.
I reached out to Jensen, and unfortunately, they confirmed that the individual antenna parts are not available separately. They also could not confirm that the rubber mast from a new Jensen Antenna # 44US01R can be removed and swapped over to your existing ball mount.
Since Jensen can't verify that the parts are interchangeable, I don't want to tell you that it's as simple as removing the screw at the ball and swapping the antennas. The best option is going to be replacing the complete antenna assembly with the Jensen Antenna - Top or Side Mount - Rubber Mast # 44US01R.

Hi! Thanks for responding to my question. To update, I got bold and took the original pot metal ball assembly, with stub of the antenna apart and also ordered the complete Jensen antenna assembly, listed above in the post. That antenna assembly is revised and the ball and antenna are not a direct replacement for the older Jensen antenna, that I have. Although, the different ball/antenna assemblies could be married together, it would not look stock and would look crappy. I bought an antenna kit with different SAE to Metric adapter male & female stud configurations and a 14" antenna, which was included. My original pot metal ball stud is 1/4-20 UNC thread and the kit had that female connector 1/4-20 thread to male metric thread, that fit the included mast. Put the pieces together and was able to use the old ball and stud with the antenna kit. E-trailer probably has that part number.
