Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this city water flange. This is going to replace the city water check valve on your RV. So whether it's become damaged or just worn out over time, this is going to be a great option for you. It is made of a plastic material, so it's going to be nice and lightweight, but it is still resistant to UV damage as well as impact damage.
It meets the NSF 61 standards, so you can trust that it is made to those high-quality standards. It's going to do a good job for you.The plastic valve here on the backside, this is a half-inch NPT fitting so that's that male pipe threading. And that is the inside diameter, about half-inch. So make sure that that's going to work for your setup. The other side is just your standard three-quarter inch garden hose kind of fitting, so it should hook up easily to any of your city water hoses that you've got coming into your RV.
As far as our dimensions, our outside diameter, we're looking at right about three inches for your cutout. You're going to need about an inch and a half to be a little bit of a wiggle room on either side there. Our valve depth we're looking at. So you put it up here. About one and three-quarters of an inch.It is a polar white color so it should match the exterior color of your RV if you have white, and obviously on a black could work as a highlight if you already have black on there.
It does come with this rubber cap to make sure that nothing is getting inside of your water tank while you have it unhooked from your city water hose. So if you're needing a new city water flange, this is going to be a great option for you.It does not come with the mounting hardware. Now we do have kits available here at etrailer.com to help you get this sealed up so that rain doesn't get back behind there or anything. And it would come with the screws to get it mounted in place as well. That's really all there is to our city water flange.

I do not prefer this product, should have done more research.
It came in a timely manner. I just had to add a small extension to get through the wall of the trailer. Other that that it works perectly.
I broke a fitting in the freezing weather and this is just what I needed.
