Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B&B polar white RV city water hatch. Now this RV hatch for your city water fill with check valve is going to replace a warn or damaged unit. And before we go any farther, let me go ahead and just give you some dimensions just so you can be confident this is going to work for you. Let's begin with the overall or the outside dimensions. So looking at that width, you can see we're sitting at six inches wide.
The height from bottom to top, right at about 6 1/2 inches tall. Let me see if I can give you the cutout dimensions. Looking at the width first, we're sitting pretty close to 4 1/4 inches wide. Looking at the height from bottom to top, about 4 3/4 inches tall. And then looking at the collar depth, see if I can line that up there.
Looks like about 1 1/2 or so on that collar depth. The overall depth might be easier said than done here. Let me see. Right at about three inches it looks like overall. And then the inside water connection is going to be 1/2 inch NPT.
And then this does have a check valve that's going to prevent backflow into the city system when under pressure. The lead free brass is not going to rust or contaminate incoming water. And you can probably see it there. This features a removable screen filter that's going to be easy to clean and replace. The grip collar is going to let you easily attach and detach your hose.
And if you notice the plug here is tethered and that's going to protect the fill point when it's not in use. It's just going to pop right into place just like that. And then this locking door does have a little access door there that's going to allow you to keep your hose connected through the door even when it's locked. So that flap will be very easy just to flip up and then down. I mentioned this. This is a locking door. So a key is included. A global link key is included to lock that door into place and very easy to lock and unlock just like that. So this is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic. So you're not gonna have to worry about this yellowing or fading. It's very durable, very rugged. So I think it's gonna hold up really well against the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. This is impact resistant. It's going to resist salt. This is NSF, IAPMO, CSA and TEI Certified. And this includes everything that you see here on my table. You're gonna get the mounting hardware. If you notice, the heads of those screws are color matched to fit this, to match this white plastic, polar white plastic is what DMB calls it. But you're also going to get the key, of course the lock, and butyl tape. But I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
