Can Furrion Camera Connect to Smartphone for a Monitor

Can you pair or connect a Furrion FOS48TAPK-BL to a cell phone instead of or along with the Monitor that comes with it?

The Furrion cameras, like what comes in the part # FOS43TASF that replaced the part you referenced, are only compatible with their specific monitors.

If you are looking for a camera system that allows you to use your smartphone as the monitor then I recommend the Rear View Safety WiFi Backup Camera System # RVS-83112-WiFi. This connects to your iPhone through the free SafetyEye app (SafetyCam on Android) which allows you to record footage and save still shots to your phone or the app.

@Matt The only system we have that allows you to accomplish this is the Swift Hitch Wi-Fi Camera # SH04.

@Matt A cool thing to do would be to get a bunch of ring stick up cams and place them where you want. They can run off of solar power and some come with their own panels.

Can I also use the sensor light in my RV as a camera where I can see what's going on through my phone if I'm not at home and can I cut it off when I want it off or cut it on

@Florence The wireless part of the Furrion Vision S # FOS43TASF can only reach 492' if it's unrestricted, and the camera will only work with the monitor - so while this can be used as a remote monitoring system, there are limitations to how it can be used. You can setup the camera to only received power at certain times but that will all have to be setup and operated manually like with a battery switch like part # 277-000096.

Purchased an RV with the Furrion FCN48TASF rear view camera installed but we have no monitor for it. Is this model compatible with Bluetooth or can it be paired to smartphone thru an app? The answers ro previous questions are related to a different model.

@Milly The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera # FCN48TASF you have installed is compatible with the Vision S monitors: - 4.3" # FR77FR (matches with window mount # LC776462) - 5" # FR97FR (matches with window mount # FR79SR) - 7" # FR47FR (matches with window mount # FR79SR) Unfortunately the cameras are only compatible with the Furrion monitors so you won't be able to use it with a smartphone or a different app.

@Mike No, but we do have alternative options like the Drive Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # 324-000002 that has the ability to record video if you insert an SD or TF card.
