The flush design keeps the Yakima BaseLine FX crossbars tight to the roofline for a clean, from-the-factory look. Nothing sticks out past the sides, so it blends right in and keeps a low profile. The integrated crossbar and tower system mounts directly to a naked roof, giving you a finished setup that looks like it belongs there.
Driving with crossbars can sometimes mean wind noise, but these aerodynamic aluminum bars are shaped to help smooth airflow. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels fill the gaps to cut down on whistling and vibration while you drive. The result is a quieter ride so you can focus on the trip, not the hum from above.
This rack is ready for whatever adventure comes next. The aero-style crossbars work with accessories that attach in the top channels or clamp around the bars, so you can load up bikes, kayaks, skis, or a cargo box without needing special adapters. It’s built to handle up to 165 lbs—just be sure to follow your vehicle’s own roof load limits.
Each bar is made from aluminum for strength without extra weight. At 52-3/4" long x 5" wide x 3-1/2" tall, they provide plenty of support while maintaining a sleek look. The durable construction stands up to weather and heavy gear, and the black finish keeps it looking sharp trip after trip.
You can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) to secure both the rack and any channel-mount accessories. It’s an easy upgrade that helps keep your setup safe when you park for lunch or leave it overnight at camp.
