Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at replacement hitch pin with a lock pin and cable for the Demco Kar Kaddy SS. Now folks, this does replace the hitch pin with lock pin and cable for your Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly. Now the lock pin simply inserts into the end of the hitch pin to hold it in place. The oversized handle here is gonna make it super easy to grip and push in or pull out, make an installation removal. Now this locking pin as they call it, it's not physically locked with a key but is locked in the sense that you have to lock over the arm here and keep her to keep it in place.
The pin is a 5/8" diameter pin. Overall, if we're counting the handle and everything, I was getting right at about 7-3/8" long. If we wanna know usable length, so I'm gonna go from the inside of the lip here right to the edge of the pin. Usable length is about 4-1/2". And again, that's the inside to the outside of those two pins there.
So what I'm calling the usable length. Now if you want the total length of this rod here, that smooth part, I get about 5-1/4" long overall. The handle broke off the first time I used it.
Bought this as a spare. It is a critical spare part for my Kar Kaddy. Nothing to fail but if lost or”borrowed” it would stop me from going anywhere.
