Parts Needed To Install Thule Roof Rack On Leer Camper Shell With Tracks

Question:

We got a new Leer top for our 2021 Ram 1500 Crewcab. Leer installed the Thule track as well as some small brackets with a metal crossbar. The towers and bars are back ordered, so Im looking to order them from Etrailer rather than waiting any longer with Leer. I think that I need the rapid podium feet TH460R. The 60inch WintBar Evo crossbars TH711520. A set of locks: TH450400 But Im not sure if I need the fitkit, because of the pieces already installed in the tracks. Im attaching a picture of whats installed so you can hopefully help confirm.

The Replacement FootBase for Thule Tracker # 753-2149 is what you currently have on the Thule tracks on your Leer shell. This footbase is for the now discontinued Thule Tracker square bar setup. You may be able to piece this system together even though it is a discontinued setup, but it sounds like you want to go with aero bars which I recommend due to the reduced wind noise, and the fact that they have an integrated T-slot channel on top for easy installation of accessories.

Here are the parts you need in order to install a Thule aero roof rack on your Leer camper shell with Thule tracks:
-Rapid Podium Feet # TH460R
-Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars 60" # TH711520
-Fit Kit # THKIT3101
-Locks # TH450400

You will need to remove the current footbase and install the parts listed above, including the fit kit.
