Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Lippert replacement override nut. This override nut is going to replace the original nut that was on your Lippert electric trailer jack, that you can see on the screen there. So if you are needing a new override nut for your trailer jack, this is going to be the piece that you need.As you can see, it does have that D style opening on the inside there. We also have the 3/32 inch Hex screw, there to tighten it down.
Then as far as our other measurements go, it is right about 3/4 of an inch in height, and right about 3/4 quarters of an inch in width, the opening there is right about 3/8 of an inch.This is a Lippert components product so you can trust it is going to work with your jack. You're not going to need to make any sort of modifications or worry about fit issues or anything like that. So if you do need that override nut, this is going to be the piece that you need. The product was just as advertised, already installed and already used it. Works like it is meant to. We paid for an earlier delivery date and product came a day late. Contacted etrailers and they cheerfully refunded my shipping charges, I can't argue with that. Will use again if needed.

Which Lippert jack do you have? The nut is compatible with the # LC285318 jack only.

Still working after a year.
Imagine ordering a part direct from the manufacturer and get an email the next day saying it’s out of stock and won’t be in for a month. Imagine finding a replacement on etrailer, and getting it a few days later with step by step notifications of when the item was picked, packaged and shipped!!! Product was as expected highly recommend.
No tightening screw or allen wrench came with the nut. Only the nut! I've purchased many items that require an allen wrench and it always has come with that exact tool for use.
Plus, the high price of this nut, you would think it at least comes with a tightening screw. Now I have to go to a hardware store to find one!! Very disappointed.

Easy to work with. Product is as described. This product was a perfect fit for my jack. The most difficult part of installation was trying to figure out how to disassemble the housing so that I could tighten the set screw.

I bought this as a backup for my Jack. Things went bad from the start. I tried using my impact on it and it broke in half. I then use it with a socket turning it by hand. Even though it was broken it worked great. I finished setting up my RV and bought a new one.
Just got the package yesterday so the shipping took longer than expected but overall you guys are great.

Keep a spare in the truck. When you need to use a manual override, these tend to snap.
It broke the first time I use it

I purchased this for a friend, we replaced the broken nut and it worked great. He has since sold that travel trailer and I have no further knowledge of it.
