Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Fastway replacement hardware kit. This kit is going to include the hardware needed to mount your trailer frame brackets onto your trailer. So, this is going to be an exact replacement from Fastway for your 6,000 pound, 8,000 pound, 10,000 pound, and 12,000 pound Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems that use either the square bars or the round bars, all those part numbers that you see on the screen there. So, if you have any of those, you're needing to replace one of the bolts or one of the L-pins, this is gonna be the kit that you need. This is the exact same hardware that originally came with your kit, so you can be sure that it's all gonna be compatible.
You're not gonna have to worry about size issues or anything like that. So, you are going to get the four bolts, split washers, and nuts to attach your inner and outer plates on your trailer frame. You'll also get the nyloc nuts there to attach your L-bracket onto your outer plate. And then you're also going to get the pins and pin clips to secure those spring bars onto your L-bracket there. So, everything you're gonna need on the trailer frame-mounted portion.
This isn't going to include any of the hardware for your head unit or shank, but if you are needing to replace any of that frame-mounted bracket hardware, this kit is gonna include everything you need. We had to buy one of these kits to install replacement components after I turned too sharply onto a highway with a high curb and bent one of the original L-brackets on our hitch assembly which in turn deformed the outer link plate. The items in this kit are high quality, and are holding up nicely after more than year. Since I didn't need to repair both sides, I now have spare hardware on hand in the event that I didn't learn my lesson the first time! :-O
