Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Equal-i-zer Replacement L-pin. This is going to replace the L-pin on one of the sway control brackets on your Equal-i-zer 4,000 pound Weight Distribution System. And on your screen, I am including the model numbers of those weight distribution systems that this is going to work with. Also, I do wanna point out that the clip is sold separately.
So if you are in need of that clip. Also on your screen there at the bottom, you'll see another number, that's the item number for that clip that you're gonna need. You can just take that item number, and pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to that clip, and you can add that to your order if you so desire. Now, just to give you the further confidence that this is going to work for you, let me retrieve my ruler here, give you some measurements.
So measuring the length of the long side of this pin, as you can see, we're sitting pretty close to two and a half inches long. And then measuring the short side, we're sitting right about an inch and a half long, and then the thickness is half an inch. So this L-pin is going to be exactly like the one that you're needing to replace. This is the direct replacement from Equal-i-zer. So what that means for you is, you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of the original, whether that original somehow got misplaced or damaged.
You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues or anything like that. So if you are needing to replace the L-pin on one of the sway control, the sway control brackets rather, on your Equal-i-zer 4,000 pound Weight Distribution System, this is going to be exactly what you need. Needed some backup pins for my weight distribution hitch setup. etrailer had them in stock and I received them all in about 5 days.
I ordered a bunch of replacement parts for my Equalizer WDH through etrailer. They shipped it out in a paper envelope and one out of 8 items didn't make it. It must have been punctured the paper and fell out. I notified them and they sent a new one out right away. Now my redundant or backup set is complete. Thanks again.

I was reluctant at first when I saw the new brackets. They looked smallish, there no instructions and the clips looked so much different than the originals.
Once I trusted the way I installed them on the sway bars, wow what an effortless set up. Glad I found these. After a year they're still holding up well.

Exactly what I was looking for
The L pins did not fit the 4,000 lb equalizer, had to grind them down to fit! Could have gotten them cheaper and done the same thing. Paid the price to have them fit the 4,000 lb.

Great service, just what I wanted
I have had two deliveries show with the box completely empty. Because they were poorly packaged. I am waiting for the 3rd delivery. Maybe they can figure it out this time, but I am unsure.
I appreciated how the company kept me informed of the process of getting the "pins" I had ordered, when they received them, again when they shipped them, and when I could expect them to arrive. I will order from them again in the future.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. You most likely needed part # EQ95-01-9430 which fits the Equalizer systems that are rated for 6,000 - 14,000 pounds.
