Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the replacement digital remote control for the Fan-Tastic vent roof vent with 12 volt fan. Now this is going to allow you to control that fan from across the room in your RV to get the temperature dialed in.So we'll have several different controls here. We'll be able to adjust the speed of our fan and also the temperature if we have that situated on our fan. You can also lift that vent up and down and then turn the direction of the fan either to pull air in or push air out.
This also lets you turn it from manual into auto and it also has a control for turning the rain sensor on or off. It does come with two AA batteries so you can get that running right away. And it also has a little wall mount so you can attach that to your wall and have that remote up and out of the way, but still visible so if you want to just adjust it while it's sitting on the wall or maybe take it out and have it with you next to your bed or your couch, whatever the case might be.As far as the overall size, just for reference, it is about four and seven eighths inches long by about two and a half inches wide, so four and seven eighths inches long, two and a half inches wide. With that mount on there, it's about, sticks out about an inch and a half. That mount is about two inches wide and about an inch and seven eighths tall.
The distance between those mounting holes, center to center, is about one and an eighth inch. That's going to do it for our look at the replacement digital remote control for the Fan-Tastic vent roof vents.
One year later review. This remote was the exact replacement for the original remote that we had let the batteries spoil in. Worked perfectly, without any programming. So happy we found e trailer and this remote. Thank you for stocking the parts we needed.

Purchase was easy and accurate.
We have a 2011 DRV 5th wheel with 2 fantastic fans and a manual vent. I originally was concerned that the cover would not be tall enough. After install the vent does not open fully but the automatic fan comes on and works perfectly. I love the fact that the vent stays open and operates while it's raining. The rain sensor used to shut the vent which is necessary during rain, but did little for ventilation. Also, the rain sensor would open and close the vent multiple times due to light or heavy rain. Now we have no worries. I also like the dark color of the cover because the daylight doesn't interrupt sleep. We did end up buying 3 covers. Great addition!

We were so happy to receive our Fan-Tastic Vent remote from etrailer. The original order was lost in the USPS delivery. Etrailer was so helpful in replacing our order through UPS. It is rare today that you can talk with live people when placing orders and when there is an issue. It was also a pleasure to be quickly connected and not on hold for long. I had several conversations about the order and etrailer and William in particular was quick to respond. In fact, several of the phone conversations were initiated by etrailer. This is our second purchase from the company and now will contact etrailer first when looking for RV equipment. Thank you.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Somehow the controller we had disappeared and so we needed a new one and this one fit the bill. The programming instructions were clear but didn’t work exactly like it said, but I was able to get it to work.
These are great controllers for our fans. Had to replace our old ones as if you drop them the wires separate and render the fan unusable. Love the fans and controller just don’t drop them!
This worked perfectly with our 7350 Fantastic fan. I thought programming would be needed to work with the existing fan, but all I had to do was install the 2 AA provided batteries. Now I sleep much cooler in our RV.
I ordered a replacement controller for my Fan-tastic fan. The product was reasonably priced and I received it exactly as expected. I would purchase other products from etrailer again.

I have enjoyed the fan and controller a lot this year its has been very hot, and the breeze created is wonderful.
