Question:
My wall remote has stopped working in my Newmar coach. The remote control is affixed to the wall. Would this remote be directly wired to 12 volts? How would the remote be affixed to the wall? I tried to pull of the remote so I could identify if it is wired or has batteries. The fan works at high speed when I manually open the vent. The second fan in the bathroom works as expected. Thanks

There are both wired and wireless remotes for Fan-Tastic Vent RV roof vents and based on the pictures you've provided it looks like yours is wired. The remote snaps into the base and the base will have two screws holding it in place on the wall. The cable running between the vent and remote also provides power to it. We currently only offer a wireless version # FV9068-09 that slips onto a wall mount and is battery powered.
