This pre-galvanized steel support post mounts horizontally on top of or below your trailer's frame rail. Just slide the post into the boat guide support and secure the post so that the distance between the trailer bunks correctly matches the width of your boat.
Pre-Galvanized Steel
Pre-galvanized steel parts are stamped from a sheet of steel after it has already been galvanized. The edges of the pre-galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of the thinness of the coating (less than 1 mil) and the fact that the edges remain exposed, pre-galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so it's recommended that they be primed and painted.

Part was ordered to replace a rusted out boat trailer guide. Love the web site because of the detailed product description and video. Very good product. I have a boat wider in the center than on the back. With this angle I should be able to clear the widest part when the boat floats off the trailer. Regardless of this the product is nice and shipping was very fast. thanks for the good service.

these guide rails were a very good choice for a small 16 ft utility boat trailer.the cost and ease of install gave me good bang for the buck. as for e trailer they are very good at providing the product, price and most important the information needed to get it done. in dealing with them over the yrs i have never felt in the least that i made a poor choice dealing with etrailer

After one year replacement part has held up well. Could not be happier with it at this point.
You get what you order on e-trailer. I ordered 4 replacement uprights for my side bunks and they look just like the pictures on the e-trailer.

Still doing its job. Making getting the boat on the trailer.
After one year the replacement part is working fine. I'd attach a picture, but there isn't much to see. That said, I'm still amazed that etrailer connected me with the OEM for the original kit and that they sold me the single part: that's true customer service from two organizations.
I've recently replaced my tow vehicle, guess where I'm going to go for a new hitch assembly.
This is just what I needed, I put the first side on last week and it fits perfect. These are a direct replacement for my 15 yr. old hand made guides.

I had a minor accident and both bunk brackets were damaged. These replacements fit perfectly and it looks great.

I replaced the bunk on one side because of a minor accident. This replacement was of equal quality. I am very satisfied.
I needed a new guide-on after getting a pre-owned trailer. I found this website and liked the price! I ordered immediately and saw it at my door very quickly and nicely packaged! It did the trick and is still holding up to this day. Will do business with etrailer again in the future if needed. Also, will recommend to others if they are need of parts!
The guide-ons were easy to find and was exactly what I needed. Originally I had 90 degree uprights. They 75 degree worked much better. Excellent value for the money.

Still looks as good as new. The only extra step I took was to primepaint the uprights to preserve it from rusting in the future.
I ordered a set of boat guide-ons. It took longer than expected but etrailer kept me informed of what was happening. I just received them and put them on, they fit perfectly and are a good value. When they rust out (from saltwater) I will order a replacement pair from etrailer.

Product fits just like the OEM ones. These will replace the boat trailers guide-on posts that rusted out. This is the 4th order I have processed with etrailer without issues. So far, I have been happy with the service and the products. I will continue to order from Etrailer. Great price and fast shipping.
I shopped locally at all of the hardware stores and [...] and finally decided to buy online and got it in about 10 days. I probably spent more on gas then the shipping cost. I'll let you know if the quality is as good as the original trailer part but that'll take about 16 years before I know. The next time I need a trailer part I'll buy on line from etrailer.com ans save time and gas.
I purchased this hardware for a saltwater trailer that I use frequently because the original brackets corroded away. The hardware package was easy to install and the metal was heavier gauge than the original. Highly recommended for the advertised application.

Happy with product. I would have expected a plastic square cap for the top of the angle to keep water out. Not sure why that isn't standard. But customer assistance via e mail, product quality, time in transit-excellent. Will use again easily.
