Availability of Replacement Boat Trailer Guide-On Posts Without Tubing or Hardware

Updated 05/27/2015 | Published 05/24/2015

Question:

I need to replace the guide posts on my boat trailer. The existing ones have rusted. I only need the posts. The PVC pipe and mounting hardware are still good. The galvanized square posts are 1.5inch diameter and approx 42inch x 19inch with a pipe stop at approx 27. Do you carry this size and can I purchase just the posts?

Expert Reply:

Many of the boat trailer guide-on posts we offer are parts of complete kits that include the PVC pipes, guide-on posts and installation hardware, as shown on the linked page. But we also offer two replacement uprights for CE Smith bunk-style guide-ons. These can be seen on the other included link.

Part # CE27609PG is a 1-1/2-inch galvanized guide-on post with a 75-degree bend that is 18-inches tall. Part # CE27608PG has a 90-degree bend. Both are sold as individual units.
