When you’re not towing, you shouldn’t lose your bed space to bulky rails. This custom underbed rail kit mounts beneath the truck bed, leaving only four flush mounting holes visible when the hitch is removed. That means you keep full access to the bed for hauling gear or materials without any exposed rails getting in the way. It's designed specifically for Demco Underbed Mount Series (UMS) 5th-wheel and gooseneck hitches for a clean, factory-style finish.
The custom-fit frame brackets line up with your truck’s existing structure to make installation faster and easier. Because this design reduces drilling compared to universal systems, you spend less time measuring and more time towing. The brackets bolt directly to the outside of the frame rails, while sturdy crossmembers sit across the top of the frame under the bed for solid support.
This rail kit is made from heavy-duty, black powder coated steel that stands up to rust and corrosion over years of use. All rails and installation hardware are included, so you have everything you need for a durable mount that stays strong through road grime and weather.
The Underbed Mounting System uses no visible bed rails and connects through four mounting holes that pin the hitch securely to brackets underneath. It’s a purpose-built setup for Demco UMS 5th-wheel and gooseneck hitches, giving you a secure connection point every time you hook up—backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco underbed rail and installation kit. This is gonna provide the connection point for your Demco underbed mount series, or UMS fifth wheel and gooseneck hitches on your 2023 and Newer Ford F250 or F350 Super Duty. This is gonna work with both the 6.5 foot beds and the eight foot beds. Because this is designed specifically for your Ford, it's gonna help reduce the installation time and requires less drilling than a universal system. The brackets will bolt onto the outside of your truck's frame rails, and then your cross members will sit along top of the frame rails beneath the bed.
There is gonna be a little bit of drilling required for installation, but it's going to be pretty straightforward, far less than you would have with a universal kit. They do include the installation instructions and hardware that you're gonna need to get this installed. This being an underbed rail system, is going to allow for complete access to your truck bed when you have your hitch removed. So you're not gonna have your rail sitting in your truck bed. We do have the four mounting holes that will sit flush with the truck bed, so you'll still have easy access to get your hitch installed.
And this is made here in the USA, sturdy, powder-coated steel that's gonna have that black powder-coat finish to resist rust and corrosion, so it will hold up really well for you for a long time to come. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
