Question:
I see you have a Class 111 hitch for the Tuscon Hybrid, why is it there is no class 1? I only need the hitch for a bike rack and have no intention of ever needing a class 111. My bike rack is 1.25 . I see theres a class 1 for a Tuscon so I cant help but wonder what is different between the two cars that makes the Hybrid need a Class 111?

For the 2022 Hyundai Tucson we have several options available and all are class III rated with a 2" receiver. I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e38KR as it is equal in specs and quality to the other options but offered at a better price point.
Most all manufacturers of bike racks, cargo carriers and other hitch mounted accessories are moving away from a 1-1/4" option and making all accessories fit the 2" receiver for uniformity. This provides ease of use for customers to transfer items from one vehicle to the next without need to purchase multiple bike racks and other sport equipment carriers. Therefore hitch manufacturers are beginning to produce receiver hitches as such too.
My suggestion is that you add the 2" to 1-1/4" Hitch Reducer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # HT02 to the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e38KR for use with your current bike rack.
There is also bike rack specific reducers available such as the Hitch Adapter Sleeve for Hollywood Racks Bike Carrier, # HRREDADA and for Thule Doubletrack, Hitching Post Pro, or Vertex Racks, # 853-7489. If you let us know what your current bike rack we can look that up for you.
