Video Transcript for Review of Victron RV Power Inverter - Pure Sine Wave - VN44RR

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Victron Phoenix V.Direct inverter. Now folks, this is a compact, yet powerful inverter that's gonna convert that 24 volt DC power into nice, clean, stable, 120 volt AC power you can use just like your household electricity. One of the things that sets this apart is the built-in NEMA GFCI outlet with its UL-458 compliance. That adds that ground fault protection, so that makes it safer and more suitable for those marine application or RV environments where electrical safety is a priority. Now this unit's gonna provide up to 1200 VA of continuous output with a high surge capability.

So it's gonna be able to handle everything from chargers and lights to small appliances and power tools without missing a beat. And another thing that I like about this is that it uses a pure sine wave output. So that just means that the AC power is nice, smooth, clean. It's ideal for those sensitive electronics, whether it's televisions, audio gear, laptops, even medical devices, things like that that don't tolerate rough power. This is a great option for that.

You can also connect to that VE direct communication ports, and you can also configure settings and monitor them using the Victron Connect via USB or Bluetooth dongle, giving you an inside into load, voltage and performance from your phone or computer. As far as some quick dimensions, the height is four and 5/8 tall. It's about nine and 1/8 inches wide. And that's from the outside of these mounting points, side to side and a length, I got 12 and 7/8 inches. So because of its built-in protections, it's short circuit protections, low battery conditions, plus echo mode, that's gonna improve efficiency when you load your light.

I think this is a great option for you when you need that reliable AC power in a compact package. As always, if you have any questions about this or any other products, reach out to us here at etrailer. We're more than happy to assist you. I'm Stephen. Thanks for watching.
