Round tubing leaves flat tie-down anchors with poor mounting contact. This contoured E-track anchor welds to curved steel surfaces from 3/4" to 2" in diameter, adding a low-profile 1,000-lb WLL attachment point to racks or custom tubing.
Flat anchors aren't a natural match for curved tubing on ladder racks, van racks, or custom trailer fabrication. This contoured anchor welds directly to curved metal, with its best contact on steel tubes from 3/4" to 2" in diameter. Your round-tube structure gains a permanent E-track attachment point exactly where you weld it.
Sometimes you only need a tie-down point in one specific spot. The single-slot anchor sits 1/2" tall off the surface and accepts Snap-Loc cargo straps, ring attachments, and E-track accessories (sold separately). You get an isolated attachment point that stays low when there's nothing connected to it.
Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our SNAP-LOC weld on contoured E-Track for a single strap anchor point. So folks, this has got a contour on it. So you can see it's beveled here, or contoured rather and here, and it has an open slot. So what you're gonna be doing is you would weld this, or have it welded onto maybe like a rounded, curved metal surface. And then that will match a three quarter inch up to about two inch diameter it should work with.
And that's gonna give you nice contact. And then this will keep the anchor out of the way. It's a low profile. You can put that anchor inside of here and then weld this in place. And then, it'll have something where you can have an anchor point right where you need it every time.
So if you're carrying the same kind of loads or you just know, hey, I want an anchor point here on this round tube, maybe it's something inside the trailer, or maybe it's part of your trailer's roll cage or something, who knows what, you can put an anchor point. Obviously, this is just the anchor itself or the thing for the anchor. You would need to purchase whatever anchor you're putting in there, whether it's a ring, a D-ring, or something like that separately. This has a 3,000 pound brake strength or a 1,000 pound working load limit. It's a 10 gauge steel, has a protective zinc coating on it, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion anytime soon.
