K Source Towing Mirrors - KS3990

  • Universal Fit
  • Pair of Mirrors
  • Fits Driver and Passenger Side
  • K Source
  • Manual

Universal dual lens towing mirror clips over one of your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Driver's and passenger's side. Tool-free installation.

Features:

  • Dual lens towing mirror mounts on either of your factory side mirrors to extend your line of sight
    • Gives you an expanded view of the road and your trailer
    • Allows you to safely and easily change lanes, back up, pass, and park
  • Adjustable so it fits mirrors of different shapes and sizes
    • Ratcheting system securely tightens heavy-duty rubber straps over a variety of mirrors
    • Mounting arms rotate outward to accommodate different factory mirrors
      • Pivoting joints in the middle of the arms allow further adjustability
    • Sliding clips grab onto the edge of your factory mirror and adjust to fit varying mirror thicknesses
  • Snug fit reduces mirror vibration
  • Manually adjustable mirror face allows you to customize your view
  • Quick-release button on ratchet for easy strap adjustment and fast removal
  • Rubber pads on the straps protect your vehicle's mirror housing from scratches
  • Convex mirror makes reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, allowing you to see more
  • Black plastic housing provides a clean look and won't rust or corrode
  • Easy, tool-free installation and removal - no hardware required

Specs:

  • Application: fits most mirrors 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall
  • Mirror face dimensions: 7-1/2" wide x 5-1/8" tall
  • Quantity: 2 mirrors
  • 90-Day warranty

These adjustable, universal-fit dual lens towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

I bought these for my 2014 Expedition as there were no "slip-on" type mirrors available at the time. After some trail in fitting these they worked well. I towed a 22' car hauler from Kansas to Reno NV and back with no problems. I did find that after they were on the vehicle awhile the straps needed to adjusted and tightened up but the ratchet type straps worked well for that. Also, no marring of my painted mirrors. They even retract with the folding mirrors I have on this truck. Pictures attached are the only two I have kind of showing the mirrors, not too good. etrailer has always been good to deal with. I would recommend these strap on mirrors. I wish they made the slip on type mirror for this year Expedition as it has a cleaner look.

by:

While the product I purchased from e-trailer stated that these mirrors would fit my 2023 Passport, they did not. The bottom clamps were made for a car mirror with a straight bottom edge; however the mirrors on my passport have a wide v shape and the bottom line is the clamps did not fit. Tightening both the upper and lower clamps caused the mirror to slide off the outside edge. There was no way to secure the etrailer mirrors to my 2023 Passport mirrors.

by:

Great dealing with you. Love the trailer. Thanks again

by:

Well made product and accomplishes the need to extend the viewing area. Couple of recommendations: 1. the straps must be regularly cleaned and lubricated or they become stuck and bind within the tightening mechanism. 2. The vibration at the outer edge must be resolved in a better design, since you will only get queuing but not actual good visibility of objects in the mirror - even tightening the strips did not help.

by:

Quick to install and remove. Happy with the increased visibility that it provides

by:

Works great on our 2022 Telluride. Easy on and off. Little if any vibration.

Working great. Has some vibration. Fits very well on our 2022 telluride. Definitely worth the money. Been traveling out west now in the east.

by:

These are terrible mirrors vibration so bad. Can’t see out of them. Terrible customer service won’t let me return them because they were on the truck 5 minutes. I would never buy from etrailer again.

by:

Buyer beware!! I can’t review this product accurately because if it touches your truck, you can NOT return it. You heard that right. You cannot install it to see if it shakes or vibrates because eTrailer will NOT take it back. and if you gaze at it and decide it’s not for you, it will take 3 full weeks from the time they receive it for you to get a refund and returns shipping is on you.

by:

They do not fit my 2019 Audi Q7 Prestige mirrors. They kept sliding off when I finally managed to get the clips and straps in sinc . When they were sort of on the were almost below the window sill.

by:

They were a poor fit for my 2019 Ford Ranger. One blew off on my second use. Would not recommend them.

by:

These mirrors are great. Easy to mount and remove but didn't budge during test rides. It provides just the rear view needed and makes travelling with our new trailer a lot safer!

by:

The attachment is a bit askew on the lower part of our mirror for a 2026 Gladiator.
the main support of the original mirror is somewhat in the way of the new mirror attachment band.

by:

The fit for the Land Cruiser was a little off but I made it work. Sold the cruiser and back to Toyota 4Runner. Haven’t tried the mirrors yet .

by:

This is my second pair of towing mirrors. The first ones were the twentysomething dollars and a big disappointing. I was spending over five minutes to arrange them just to start driving and have them move and be almost useless. These are fitting so much better on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee! The attachment system is ferm and with a better grip on the mirror, the entire assembly is suddenly part of the car and the best thing is that you can adjust the two mirrors without moving the entire thing. When in the right position, you can see a lot more in the mirror so you can confidently move your trailer. Very satisfied with this product, fits very well despite being universal.

After one year of using these I am more than satisfied with this purchase. Every time the set up is fast and the mirrors are staying in the right place making them perfect right away. I am towing a wider travel trailer and these are providing the visibility I need.

by:

This extension mirror work well for towing our small trailer. It's supposed to fit our 2015 Audi Q5 which was what I entered when ordering. The problem is this mirror housing has an extreme curve and the mirror would slide off without another attachment aid. Before taking on the road the first time I attached a nylon strap with a Fastex buckle (3 ft from REI), tying the mirror arm back to where the mirror connects to the car body, and that did the trick.

I e used these mirrors for 2 years now, logging about 7 or 8,000 mi. They are very functional, have held up well and are fairly easy to install and remove. The fit issue I discussed in my first review stands: because of the curvebulge in my Audi mirror housing I have to use a strap to pull the mirror back towards the car to keep from sliding off.

by:

They are awesome. Much superior to my previous towing mirrors.

by:

I've tried multiple mirror styles on the Ford Explorer and these are the best. They stay on the mirrors which are curved and do a great job while towing the camper. The view is excellent and the quality outstanding. Highly recommend these. Other mirrors actually fell off on the highway as the small tabs that slide into the vehicle mirror housings are made of white metal and as you put pressure on them they crack.
The ratchet style connectors make this a perfect device for these curved mirrors on the car.

One year later and they are working great! We have taken many trips and so far they are the best.

by:

Broke my vehicle mirror plastic housing. Ended up buying aftermarket tow mirrors to replace original vehicle mirrors. This worked much better.

by:

I bought these to fit my Tacoma while towing a small travel trailer. They fit well and do a great job of providing the necessary view area behind and along side the trailer. The are really nice for the money. I recommend them.

by:

Cannot fully attach the clip-on mirror to the car mirror. The more I tighten the strap, the mirror attachment slides off the car mirror on my 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness.
Cannot trust this attachment to stay attached without the use of duct tape.

by:

I like these mirrors. Setup and removal are quick and easy. The 5 start rating was missed because the point where the straps attach to the mirror have worn after a dozen uses which cause the straps to easily fall off the mirror during storage. I used super glue to keep them in place.

by:

While the mirrors themselves, and the brackets are nice enough, their fitment to my Bronco Sport mirrors is not good. You could either blame the brackets or the size of the Ford's mirrors, but the fact remains that the strap closest to the outer edge of the Ford's mirrors does not remain securley in place. I may have to try to adding a strap to keep the two straps from spreading. I can't say that I am surprised with this. I really wish that there was a better solution.

by:

I have a 2022 Nissan Frontier and they fit. It took a long time to install. The larger mirror just shakes a lot. The smaller mirror was helpful. When I went to take them off it didn’t work like the instructions said. However I was able to just pull them right off, without damaging my paint. I think I will look for a better option. Since I purchased the Furion 7 inch plus camera, I don’t think I will ever need the mirrors.

by:

These are easy to install. Once they are set up the first time they go back on very fast. Adjusting them is easier with some help unless you have REALLY long arms! The ratcheting system holds them very securely on my 2019 Ford Ranger. Zoom in on the picture to see. The straps are tacky enough to grip the mirror housing very well. Once installed properly I did not have to readjust them at all. The install video shows them being installed on a Ranger and they are as etrailer shows. They do vibrate some but I suspect all clamp on mirrors will. They worked well and gave me the vision I needed towing on the interstate and through town.

by:

To be honest, I've never used or needed a product like this until now! And their a little tricky to dail in.. Attaching them was a bear, but I got them to work. And idi managed to get the driver dailed in,but thr passenger side was a lil' wonky. All in all, they survived their purpose and got my Cargo-Conversion Camper from A-B-A...
