Extra-large, universal towing mirrors clip over your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Easy, tool-free installation. Includes 2 mirrors.
Features:
Specs:
These adjustable, universal-fit towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, they can be attached to a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirrors' mounting arms is jointed behind the mirrors so the arms pivot inward or outward. 2 Additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.
Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirrors and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.
The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirrors securely over your existing mirrors. Quick-release buttons in the middle of the ratchet levers allow you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirrors. When you install the towing mirrors, use the ratchet levers to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirrors, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.
Ball joints behind the mirrors allow you to manually adjust the mirror faces to different viewing angles. You can also turn each entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirrors to prevent scratches when these mirrors are installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

I’ve used these on my ‘18 Jeep JL for about 4,000 miles. They seem sturdy and easy to use. Since the Jeep has such small mirrors, and I didn’t want the extension mirrors coming off, I placed three small screws to give them more stability.
Using them on a 2024 Ford Ranger, easy to install, they stay secure and work really well.
Easy to attach and adjust. Stay in place with minimal vibration. Would buy again, except they work too well and won’t have to for quite awhile.
They were easy to install (once you figure out where the strap release button is located) and worked like a charm!
I drive a 2017 Suburban and towed a Keystone Bullet (about 8 1/2’ wide and 30’ long) 160 miles today without any issues.
The mirrors are not what I’d call pleasing to the eye, but they certainly provided an additional 18” of span, enabling me to look down the sides of the trailer and see cars behind me.

As originally mentioned, they are not pretty but they certainly do the job very well and they have become easier to take off and reinstall. I am completely satisfied with this product!
I got what I expected and as promised delivery. These were a breeze to install and work very well. One tip watch the short video that etrailer made available.
This was my first time shopping with you and it was great. Thanks!!!

The mirrors served very well. They attached easily and stayed put. Very little vibration and served well in those high traffic conditions and backing into camp spots. Good product at good price.
Mirrors work fine on my Honda Pilot, but I secure them with zip-ties as a backup.
Beware of buying anything from etrailer! I ordered these mirrors and they do not fit. I had two etrailer employees tell me that based on the pictures I sent them that they do fit! Only one strap is holding the mirror on as the second strap slides off the car factor mirror.

Craig, thank you for your review. I have taken a look at your photos. Firstly, you want to move the straps in closer to the vehicle and center on the mirror. Also, the strap farthest from the vehicle is hooked into the top hole of the tab and the strap closest to the vehicle is hooked into the bottom hole of the tab. You want to make sure both hooks are in the bottom hole of the tabs and use the ratcheting mechanism to tighten up the fit. I have attached a video of installation on a 2018 Ford explorer that has very similar mirrors.

Fitted on 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax Cab w/ Stock Mirrors
No vibration issues with either mirror.
Turned left and right side clip on mirrors vertical so the did not overlap truck mirrors. Right side no problem with attachment and was able to adjust truck mirror. Could also see father back along right side of a 24’ travel trailer than just looking in truck mirror. Don’t expect to see behind on right side any vehicles tucked up close.
Left side mirror attachment had to be modified so I could adjust truck mirror without interfering with clip on mirror lower L “hooks”. I put a rubber blocks under the lower L hooks so they were low enough to get under truck mirror glass yet still clamp to truck mirror housing. A picture tells the story. 7,000 km/4,200 miles later and neither mirror has loosened or moved. No vibration or distortion. Yes, I ran 2 zip ties as safety “chains” from the back straps to truck mirror arm just in case, they’re barely snug.
I recommend these.
I just received these mirrors and they are working very well on my car. I haven’t worked with him long enough to get a five star out of this but so far I’d say it’s a strong four star. I did find it a little difficult to understand the workings of the ratchet strap, but finally figured it out.
After reading lots of reviews on several mirrors, I decided to buy the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors. Oh how I wish my truck could use the ones that slip over the existing mirrors! I was prepared for a fight, based on reviews, and boy did I get one! I truly needed a third hand when figuring out how to attach these. I was bound and determined that I could do this on my own. No mirrors were going to defeat me! I did ask my husband to come look at them. He started to help but I shewed him away. After a lot of words that don’t normally come out of my mouth and a few tears, the first one was on! Then I had to go do it again in the other side! I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me yelling. But I persisted! Lo and behold, this 67 year old Grammy did it! It was clear they would not stay on by themselves, so I grabbed a couple of bungee cords and wrapped them around the housing and they aren’t going anywhere. I have left them on my truck. No way I’m going thru that every time we return from camping. I will take them off at the end of camping season. Delivery was really fast. I was disappointed that one box was brand new and the other was smashed and taped, an obvious return. I would have been very unhappy if there was a piece missing or if something was wrong since this was my first purchase with etrailer. Overall, the mirrors work, they do not shake and I find I don’t use the truck mirrors now. Very happy with my purchase.

You don't need no help, Denise! I love your award winning persistence and creativity. It's sad that you had to go through all of that work, but that is unfortunately the case often times with most towing mirrors. Bungee cords and keeping them attached till the end of the season is a great solution and should work well. I'd love to hear more from you about your trips and see some more photos.
Took a minute to figure out the instructions but it wasn’t too difficult to install them.
The clip on's would not clamp and stay put on the outer part of my 2025 Traverse mirrors, however, I used a couple zip ties and it worked great. Mirrors are of good quality and do not vibrate.
man the communication through shipping was great and the mirrors work beautifully. It does take a few minutes to put on, but they are really well made and sturdy.
I have been trying to find a pair of extender mirrors that will fit my Ford F-150, while towing my RV. These fit on my truck mirrors really well and were easy to strap on. The rachet system works well and secures the extender mirrors onto the truck mirrors really well.
I am probably going by to have to return them or zip tie them but I installed them as directed and had to reached out the window while driving down the highway and removed them before they flew off, they do not stay secure as is and then I was stuck traveling with no decent line of sight. So definitely secure them with something additional and do not trust the system it comes with only.
These mirrors work great for towing a camper. Being convex you can see really well on both sides. Turning and backing up is much easier with these mirrors.
The mirrors do what they are supposed to do but the straps are awkward to adjust. Loosening the straps requires three hands and a small screw driver slid under the ratcheting strap just below the small clip that bites the strap. Don't open the shiny clip all the way and slide a thin screw driver under the "bite" to loosen the strap.
A bit of adjustment time required to get good fit on my 2025 Tacoma stock mirrors. Wished you had custom fit slip on mirrors in stock. I used tie wraps to keep both mirror rachet straps tighter on Tacoma stock mirror.
Mirrors work well bit I have to put som carpet stick material between the mirror and the traction pads to prevent vibration causing mirror to fall off. Easy fix and have had no problems sense.
Etrailer....the only place I shop for all my towing needs! Never been disappointed.

Thanks Ron, we appreciate your business!!
A pain to first put on by yourself. But once on, the clips will stay in place for easy removal and reattaching. Would definitely recommend! Plus warning lights for cars approaching still work.

Glad to hear that the lights don't interfere with your warning lights on the side mirrors, Ellen! What kind of trailer are you towing?

Should not be recommended for Toyota Tacoma. I am not convinced the tow mirror will stay on at highway speed. Since the '24 Tacoma mirror is tapered to the outside, vibration will cause the tow mirror to slide off. Even when fully tightened, pulling on the tow mirror even slightly causes it to slide. Likely a waste of money that will become highway junk.
I received excellent customer service from etrailer. Very fast shipping. I thought the mirrors were very easy to install on my 2025 Nissan Frontier SV. I tried them on a road test and had no concerns about the mirrors falling off. My rear view is very good when backed up to my camper.

Perfect! Sounds like they're working the way they should. Gotta say, love the photos and LOVE the flag - are you able to have it mounted in the bed of the truck when towing, too?
When installing them for the first time on my 2020 Ranger, I had some trouble with them wanting to side off to the outside of the mirror. Eventually I got them to stay, but was worried they would fall off while driving. I got a piece of string and tied them to the truck mirror. I was very pleased while driving ,as they didn't come loose, and the picture did not vibrate much. Even still, I have tied them on every time I use them. Over time I have gotten pretty good at installing them

They look great, Michael! I can say that sometimes these can be tricky since they are universal and sometimes take time to find that sweet spot on the mirrors.

I still and a safety string on the mirrors, just as a precaution. I have found that most of my towing is on two lane roads and my TT is only 7 feet wide, the stock mirrors on my truck work well, and I may only use the add ons when traveling on 4 lanes roads
