Four heavy-duty load stops slide within the crossbar slots to keep ladders, planks, or pipes from shifting in transit. They lock in place with simple twist knobs and include tie-down loops for straps. Four side cleats mount to the uprights for extra anchor points when you need to secure bulky or uneven loads. These are the best looking racks in the neighborhood, they are also very user friendly. The top clamps keep boards from shifting and the cleats on the towers let me tie things down without a lot of knots. I am a happy camper. I would definitely purchase from this company in the future.
