Great product. A lot heavier and sturdier than it appears on paper.Very easy to install.
I'm sure the product is fine, but it was shipped in a non-factory etrailer box. Parts were thrown into the box haphazardly which resulted in dings and scratches on the parts. additionally the instructions stated that there should be two wrenches and many different screws and bolts, none of which were present in the box. there were no holes or damaged to the box so it seems likely that etrailer simply did not package them, or I was sold a returned / to used product.
this is more a reflection on etrailer rather than Yakima.
Great Customer service, I ordered the wrong item and the order was corrected with no issues. Great follow up by phone and email from Terri N to ensure all issues were resolved. The item was the correct fit and is an awesome product, highly recommend this product.
The best looking and most functional bed rack. The adjustable height is incredibly handy, and the weight and design make removal for using the bed for tall items very easy. We use our racks mainly for kayaks and our SUP boards, but also have occasionally carried ladders and lumber as well. Very durable and dependable. Would easily buy again.
Great product! Just finished installing and it was really simple. It was on back order for a bit but Teresa gave me regular updates along the way. I’m still waiting on my side bars but everything else is installed. Highly recommend this rack.

Absolutely love the rack system. We also attached a cargo basket up on the crossbars. Very useful, greatly increases our cargo capacity for camping trips.
I was a little apprehensive due due this being a discounted item due to paint scratches. Product arrived in a well traveled box which did not help any. But...no worries. Yes, there were scratches in the paint as expected but included were new instructions and a fresh set of install bolts and tools. Install was a breeze and I ordered HD cross bars today. I would recommend these uprights based on the name brand, fit and finish and flexibility to take on and off easily. These went on a 2023 GMC HD 2500.
These adjustable supports are exactly what I needed for strength and the ability to adjust laterally and vertically to accommodate various loads. They fit the T-slots in the bedrails perfectly. Highly recommend these supports!
Yakima products are outstanding! The ability to remove these from the bed when not needed is fantastic. Rock solid when attached & the locking device keeps them secure - no worries about theft. When used with the Yakima crossbars, the height adjustability allows for many uses. Highly recommend.
I have been using this rack for the last 3 weeks now. It's very sturdy and takes 10 minutes to adjust height with the provided tool. I use this rack to haul a 24' extension ladder. I will lower the rack when a ladder is not needed in order to fit my truck into the garage. So far so good.

1 Year review - The rack has held up well. It is very easy to remove the entire rack from its base which has been the preferred method rather than raising and lowering over and over when in and out of use. After a bit of weathering the fasteners seemed to stick a lot more and began taking a lot of time to raise and lower. Overall, very happy with the product. I live in Minnesota where steel begins to rust after one winter, due to the aluminum build,this rack is holding up very well.

60" bars wo u ld have worked no one new but as you can see there was plenty of room instead of 68" tell people it's to much money shipping
I have a 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. I saw a eTrailer video about installing this on the truck. I then emailed the support folks and asked about install and the link to the Adapter kit for the Frontier Utili-trac rails. The etrailer person said that this cannot be mounted on the Frontier and posted this answer somewhere. Ignoring the response, I ordered the Overhaul HD, 68" bars and the Adapter kit. It installed just fine (had to take my time lining up the Utili-trac bed rail adapters. This is a very sturdy and well made Yakima product, as it should be for the cost! Very happy with this product.
2019 Tacoma 5’6” (had factory tri-fold, had to take off the rail pegs for that). Requires the extra track mounting kit #1 (got from Yakima). Very sturdy rack! Simple install, haven’t noticed any wind noise, even at over 75mph and with bars up high. Used 60” HD bars (very nice). Bought for frequent hauling of long/heavier kayaks. Not much steel to rust from the winter salt here. Will probably switch back to tri-fold cover for winters, wish there was an affordable cover option that worked with this.
So far I have only been able to start the set up on my Tundra and have not actually loaded anything on the rack yet (still in between seasons in northern Maine). I will say everything arrived in a timely manner and the adapter kit for the tundra utility track fits well…solid anchor for the rack system. Excited to start using it with both large canoes(120 lbs each) and 4 bike racks when not using canoes. I am so far impressed with e-trailer as well. They honored a price from 4 months ago when I actually put the rack in my shopping cart. Because of indecision, I didn’t actually order the item until end of March and noticed the price has gone up. E-trailer sold the item for the earlier price…integrity. I will buy products from them again and tell others about my experience.

This product has been working fantastically! It has done everything I expected and hoped it would do and looks great as well. Very user friendly and the family has enjoyed the river trips and bike trips alike. Being able to put 4 pricey mountain bikes on a rack and feel completely at ease that they are solidly attached is a great feeling. And I stand by my original post regarding your customer service and integrity of honoring the earlier advertised price. Thank you.

It is our policy to make sure that the item is still in good or new condition before it gets put back on the shelf for sale.
