Greystone's dual-induction cooktop delivers maximum performance and efficiency on your RV travels. Designed to be used inside your RV, you can either mount it into the counter so the surface is flush with the countertop, or you can use the included feet to place the cooktop on any flat surface. This helps to conserve counter space and lets you store the cooktop when not in use.

Cooking Zones

Greytone's cooktops utilize a heat balancing functionality, or power sharing. The two burners share the power used by the system to balance out how much heat is generated by each burner in order to prevent overheating and injury or damage.

What this means is that there are a total of 10 heat levels for the entire cooktop, and a single burner used by itself can be set to a maximum of level 10. But when using both burners, the two burners' combined heat level cannot exceed 10. If one burner is increased from level 5 to level 6, the second burner will decrease from level 5 to level 4, keeping an even maximum heat level of 10 across both burners.

Safety Features

Greystone builds safety features into their induction cooktops to protect you and your family. These features include the child safety lock, the auto shut-off function, and the hot surface indicator, all designed to maximize safety as well as efficiency.

The child safety lock prevents accidental use or activation. When you press the up and down arrow buttons at the same time, the cooktop will lock, allowing you to use the power button only. The indicator light will come on when the cooktop is locked. Pressing the up and down arrow buttons again will unlock the cooktop and the indicator light will go off.

The auto shut-off feature ensures that even if the cooktop is accidentally left on, it will only remain activated for 2 hours, and then will automatically shut down. The only exception is if you program the timer for longer than 2 hours, after which the cooktop will shut off in case you forget to power it down.

Since induction doesn't actually heat up the cooktop surface, there isn't a way to know if the burner is on unless an induction-compatible pot is placed on top. Because of this, Greystone has added lights to the burners, which illuminate when you adjust the heat settings. This gives you the visual impression of heat, even though you can't feel it if you place your hand on the glass surface.

Compatible Cookware and Accessories

Induction cooktops can only operate well with certain types of cookware. Magnetic pots and pans are the best option for induction cooking. If you are unsure if your cookware is magnetic, place a magnet on the bottom of the pot or pan and if it sticks, that cookware will work with your induction cooktop.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Greystone double burner induction cooktop. Now, induction uses electromagnetic energy to directly heat pots and pans. In comparison, gas and electric cooktops heat indirectly using either a burner or heating element to heat cookware from underneath. Induction cooktops don't use burners or heating elements underneath the pan. Instead, they use a series of magnets that engage the iron atoms in a pan to generate heat.If you're concerned with what types of pots or pans will work with this unit, in the instructions, it does have a nice page that details that information out. Basically, if you're unsure about the usability of your cookware, you can simply take a magnet, such as one on your refrigerator, and hold it under the bottom of your pot or pan.

If the magnet sticks, the cookware can be used on an induction cooktop. Now, induction is very efficient. It's able to deliver roughly 80 to 90% of its electromagnetic energy to the food in the pan, which is drastically more when compared to electric or gas. These cooktops not only heat up much faster, but the temperature controls are far more precise. Now, this one is a double burner cooktop. It can be used with the included feet or you can cut a hold in the countertop for a drop-in installation. So, it does offer countertop use or drop-in installation.

If you are doing a drop-in installation, you need to make sure that your cutout measures at least minimum 13-3/8" front to back, 19-3/8" side to side. Maximum measurements would be 13-3/4" front to back, 19-11/16" side to side. It does have a nice seal that goes around the perimeter of the underside.Overall, it's a really nice unit. The surface is ceramic glass and the body is metal. You do have two cook zones, so you have left and right.

You also have two control panels, so you can control independently. You'll notice here that it has a lock button. I say button but it's basically just touch sensitive, so it's like a touchscreen. You do have a lock feature right here, so it features a child safety lock, which prevents activation of the sensor keys to keep your children safe while you're using the cooktop. It will activate automatically if any key is not pressed within five minutes. The right zone has six power level settings and the left zone offers eight settings. The power levels range from 300 watts to 1,800 watts.

It can also be switched to temperature mode by pushing the function button. That ranges from 120 degrees Fahrenheit to 460 degrees Fahrenheit. It also features a timer button right here or timer sensor. That has a range from 1 minute to 2 hours and 59 minutes. Then you have your minus and plus button, which allows you to adjust your cook settings or power settings or temperature settings. Now, after using the cooking zones, the cooktop will remain hot for a short period of time. The display on each zone will show the letter H to warn the user that the surface is hot. You'll want to wait until the H is no longer displayed to clean and touch the unit.Overall, side to side, the unit measured 20-1/2", front to back, measured 14-1/8". Voltage is 120 volts, 60 hertz. The minimum circuit breaker amperage is 20 amps. Again, it does have the power cord with the standard three-prong connector. That's going to do it for today's look at the Greystone double burner induction cooktop.

I haven't used it yet, but I recessed it into a new granite counter top in our motor-home. I looks very nice and has a neoprene sponge stripping under the top around the edges so as to not rattle on the counter top when were driving. It gives an old counter top a modern look. My wife has never used the oven in the 10 years we've had the motor home so we took out the gas stove and oven,

I like the safety features but wish it could cook lower than 300 degrees.

Quick delivery in a few days. The stove will replace the propane stove on our Tiffin Motorhome. This item is as described. Although not as powerful as our home 220v unit it works well and boils water faster than our built in propane stove. It also has the option to set power based on watts used. This is useful when using the stove while power is supplied by the inverter too monitor battery consumption.

Cooktop arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. Easy to install and works great!

The Inductive Cook Stove is working great. The two burners are very nice. Starts to boil water in under 120 seconds.
