Greystone's dual-induction cooktop delivers maximum performance and efficiency on your RV travels. Designed to be used inside your RV, you can either mount it into the counter so the surface is flush with the countertop, or you can use the included feet to place the cooktop on any flat surface. This helps to conserve counter space and lets you store the cooktop when not in use.

Cooking Zones

Greytone's cooktops utilize a heat balancing functionality, or power sharing. The two burners share the power used by the system to balance out how much heat is generated by each burner in order to prevent overheating and injury or damage.

What this means is that there are a total of 10 heat levels for the entire cooktop, and a single burner used by itself can be set to a maximum of level 10. But when using both burners, the two burners' combined heat level cannot exceed 10. If one burner is increased from level 5 to level 6, the second burner will decrease from level 5 to level 4, keeping an even maximum heat level of 10 across both burners.

Safety Features

Greystone builds safety features into their induction cooktops to protect you and your family. These features include the child safety lock, the auto shut-off function, and the hot surface indicator, all designed to maximize safety as well as efficiency.

The child safety lock prevents accidental use or activation. When you press the up and down arrow buttons at the same time, the cooktop will lock, allowing you to use the power button only. The indicator light will come on when the cooktop is locked. Pressing the up and down arrow buttons again will unlock the cooktop and the indicator light will go off.

The auto shut-off feature ensures that even if the cooktop is accidentally left on, it will only remain activated for 2 hours, and then will automatically shut down. The only exception is if you program the timer for longer than 2 hours, after which the cooktop will shut off in case you forget to power it down.

Since induction doesn't actually heat up the cooktop surface, there isn't a way to know if the burner is on unless an induction-compatible pot is placed on top. Because of this, Greystone has added lights to the burners, which illuminate when you adjust the heat settings. This gives you the visual impression of heat, even though you can't feel it if you place your hand on the glass surface.

Compatible Cookware and Accessories

Induction cooktops can only operate well with certain types of cookware. Magnetic pots and pans are the best option for induction cooking. If you are unsure if your cookware is magnetic, place a magnet on the bottom of the pot or pan and if it sticks, that cookware will work with your induction cooktop.

A.J.: What's up everybody It's A.J. with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be checking out this dual burner induction cooking stovetop from Greystone. So this is going to be able to sit on your stovetop, or if the measurements are right, you can actually remove your existing burner here and drop this in. It's got a little bit of lip on the end. That way it can sit flush with your counter as long as you've got the space for it.

Otherwise, though, it works fine just on top. Uses induction cooking. Let's check it out.First question most people have is, "What is induction cooking" Well, that's the process of using magnets to create heat with the pan. So you're going to need a pan that is able to work with a magnet like that. That way the magnets can heat up the pan and it actually cooks way quicker than a normal stove would.

Because if you have your normal stove, there's a heating coil, and then you have a glass top. You got the heating coil that heats up, the glass top that heats up, and then it heats up the pan. This one eliminates the other two processes. So it will go straight to the pan and heats up the pan pretty quick.Another example is comparing it to a normal top stove. So we turn the heat on this gas stove, the heat's going to come out and go everywhere.

It's not going to stay specific to the pan. It comes out and around the pan and even here and here. And then on this, the heat is only going to be when you set the pan on there. So there's going to be no heat here, no wasted heat. It's just only going to activate when you do that and heat up just the pan.

You can pull the pan off and see that this part's not hot. It's only slightly hot because of the bottom of the pan, but it itself is not heated up.Not only does it not waste heat like a normal gas stove, but it also is safer. So when you turn off your regular stove, you know that it stays hot for a little bit. Even your stove at home, it's got that little light. It tells you, hey, the burners are still hot. The stove's off, so don't touch them. This one is far safer because there's no real heat on the burner. The heat's only in the pan. So when you remove the pan, yes, again, it'll be slightly warm here because of the pan, but it won't be harmful enough to hurt anybody. Still, wouldn't go touching that when you pull the pan off, but it's far safer than your normal stove. So we've got it plugged in. I'm going to check out how it functions. Right away, when I tell you that it starts in the Lock position. So when it's plugged in, you've got the Locks lit up. Each one of these panels operates the burner that it's right next to. So both of them start locked. You can't even fire it up without a pan on there. So you have a couple of safety precautions just in case you have little ones running around tapping buttons. They can't activate the stove and cause any chaos. Now you'll set the pan on there. Then you can unlock it, power it on, hit Function. You can turn it from degrees or power levels. So it would be, that's power level, that's temperature. You can go up and down with the Plus and Minus. That way if you want to cook with a specific temperature you can. Or if you're just fine with the power level, let's see, it maxes out here. So you know that's the highest it can go. So if you want to go middle, you just go somewhere around here and cook in that range. Some other options you have is there's a timer. So you can set that, use the Plus and Minus to set your time. And then you can just move the function again to make that go away, instead of turning the whole thing off.I just want to point out that it works out the exact same on the other side. The only thing is it's shared power. So you only have, let's say 100% power to use. So you can go 50/50 on the burners or 75/25 on the burners, but you can't go 100/100 on this. So it has to split that power up.Let's take some measurements, just see what we're working with. And maybe you can get an idea if it's going to work in your counter or not. From end to end, looks like it's 20.5". We'll go from top to bottom, 14.25". And then from the bottom of this foot, because we're going to use the stand, it's not going to fit in our place here. So we'll go from the bottom of foot to the top. Looks like 3.875" tall. So that's what you're working with overall and how much space it's going to take up.Now that we talked about how it functions and the dimensions, we'll see how it cooks. So get it unlocked. Pick the function. We'll go halfway on the power. You don't need much because it's going to heat up pretty quick. Give it just a little bit, I can already feel some heat. That's way quicker than my stove at home. I'll go ahead and add the eggs. Seems like the center heats up the fastest and takes a little bit longer for the sides to heat up. But you can see as I'm moving the eggs to the middle, they're already cooking.Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helped..

Quick delivery in a few days. The stove will replace the propane stove on our Tiffin Motorhome. This item is as described. Although not as powerful as our home 220v unit it works well and boils water faster than our built in propane stove. It also has the option to set power based on watts used. This is useful when using the stove while power is supplied by the inverter too monitor battery consumption.

The Induction cooktop has been great. No more propane smell Or the humidity it can create. And the flat surface increases counter space when not in use.

I haven't used it yet, but I recessed it into a new granite counter top in our motor-home. I looks very nice and has a neoprene sponge stripping under the top around the edges so as to not rattle on the counter top when were driving. It gives an old counter top a modern look. My wife has never used the oven in the 10 years we've had the motor home so we took out the gas stove and oven,

I like the safety features but wish it could cook lower than 300 degrees.

Cooktop arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. Easy to install and works great!

The Inductive Cook Stove is working great. The two burners are very nice. Starts to boil water in under 120 seconds.
