Features to know about

Lifts Heavy Campers with Ease: 1,500-lb Capacity and 67" Max Lift

Raising a camper high enough to clear tall bed rails takes real strength. This cable jack handles up to 1,500 lbs and lifts from 17" all the way up to 67". The hand winch and 4:1 gear ratio make cranking smooth and controlled so you can get the height you need without strain or wobble.

Sets Up Fast Anywhere: Portable 3-Piece Design

No need for permanent mounts or extra hardware. This jack breaks down into three pieces that go together quickly when it’s time to lift and come apart just as easily for storage. It’s a portable setup that’s ready wherever you park, without leaving bulky gear bolted to your camper.

Stable and Secure Lifting: Sturdy Tripod Base with Large Footplate

Keeping a heavy camper steady while lifting is all about balance. The tripod base spreads weight evenly, while the 4-3/4" footpad helps keep everything from sinking or tilting on softer ground. The safety latch keeps the cable from free-spooling, so the lift stays under control from start to finish.

Built to Last Outdoors: Steel Construction with Corrosion Resistance

Camp gear has to handle weather and time. This jack’s steel build includes a galvanized upright pole plus black powder-coated base and bracket for durability and corrosion resistance. The aircraft-grade cable is strong and reliable, backed by solid materials that hold up through repeated use in the field.

Simple Operation Every Time: L-Shaped Lift Bracket for Support

Getting the camper up is straightforward—just slide the L-shaped lift bracket under the bottom edge so it supports both the side and base, then turn the winch handle until you reach your height. The plastic handle grip gives you a comfortable hold while you crank for a steady, even lift every time.

5 stars! Love these jacks. They are strong, dependable and do the job. I was a bit nervous with balance point at first, but I built some super inexpensive stabilizers and now getting camper in and out is a breeze

by:

One jack is perfect. But the top keeper hole on one jack was not deburred and I couldn’t even get the cable past it until I broke it off. Side paint and safety sticker is scraped off. Cable was not kept tight and overwound causing kinks in the cable. I have a 30 year old set with no kinks at all. Buying a premium product should not be a shop project.

by:

Easy assembly and not much cranking effort required. Very stable and that was a fear I had since we were lifting with just 2 jacks. But all went well with my home build truck camper that weighs about 600 pounds Very good product.

"Box was badly damaged on arrival. I opened the box and discovered the lift tubes were not there. After contacting customer service they let me know the missing lift tubes were in separate shipment. Customer service was kind and very friendly and got the tracking number of the separate shipment. They gave me the new delivery date and said I could call anytime for updates. Everything came as it should be despite the boxes being pretty beat up. That's really the only reason for 4 instead of five stars. etrailer's dedication to customer service is far above industry standards in my opinion and would definitely recommend them for this alone. I'll post another update with the jacks in use."

I have no problem with the quality and function of the Brophy jacks, it is my second set. My issue is with the packaging (lack of packing materials)and the surface damage endured by the paint and labels. I've already reviewed this and included photos

by:

These jacks are very well built and are strong enough for the job. I can't say how they will work for a large camper. I removed a shell, which required some creativity because the tripods are in front of the wheels, and impossible to drive the truck out from underneath. See pictures, they are worth a million words.

by:

Works great for my home built truck cam per.

by:

it is a really nice set up. easy to use and keeps the weight of my truck i am happy with this purchase i used to struggle putting my camping tent over the ladder rack now with no effort at all i am able to load my camper with the tent attached to it .

by:

It worked well a little wobbly need to be on flat surface., maybe a wider angle iron on lifting contact with camper. Used only once . Well built. Lifted off my truck and set on my utility trailer

by:

Beefy product. Well worth the money, even if just to save yourself the hassle and embarrassment of rounding up 6 friends to help you unload a slide in. You’ll probably spend the price of the jacks on beer and pizza alone…then you’ll have to do it all over when you want to upload it again.

I was able to unload my old truck camper into a storage unit. The jacks are compact with plenty of room on either side of the camper to work within a 10ft space. Rotated side to side, lifting and then lowering the camper on my own and with no strain. Good product.

by:

I operate a Softwashing company and my equipment is all on a skid that sits in my bed of the pickup truck. I purchased 2 of these units and they work perfectly! Quality parts

by:

It worked great for lifting my campershell of my truck.

by:

As described. Excellent customer service and prompt shipping. Highly recommended.

by:

Two of these came with the Four Wheel Camper I purchased but I wanted one more for stability. etrailer comes in clutch again with the best price and extremely fast shipping. Thank you very much guys! I’m sure this won’t be my last order from you!

by:

bought this after our hydrolic jack could not be repaired. Has worked great and being mechanical no more issue of leaking oil and not working. Make sure you are on a level surface when using.

by:

I've been trying to find a way to remove my topper from my truck with one or two people. All YouTube shows is people in really tall garages setting up pulley systems to lift them off. I was glad to find these jacks. Now I can lift the topper, drive the truck away and lower the topper to a wagon and move the topper away to storage. This can all be done with one person, if necessary. This process should be easy to reverse, to put my topper back on the truck.

Very high quality & durable.

  • What Prevents Truck Bed Camper From Falling off of Camper Jacks
Hey Matt, that's a really good question but as long as you place the Brophy Cable Camper Jack # CJ74H in the right spot and you are on level and stable ground it will hold itself in place and would not slip or allow the camper to slip off of it. Each lifting bracket measures 26-1/2" long x 2" wide x 2" tall. What type of camper do you have?

  • Are The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Stable
You should not have a problem with the camper sliding out when you are using any of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks. The jack is very stable because of the tripod base. That stability will make the jack very difficult to tip to the front or the back. You will need to use two jacks, one per side. You will just need to make sure your camper jacks maximum weight capacity exceeds the weight of your camper. I have included a the different model Brophy Cable Camping jacks and their weight limits...

  • Can Brophy Camper Jacks be Used with Dually Truck
Camper jacks like the Brophy part # CJ74H can be used on dually trucks but it comes down to the width of the camper relative to the width of the dually fenders of the truck. If the camper is the same width as the top of your bed rails there won't be a way to use a camper jack like this as they'd interfere, but if the width of the camper is same as dually fenders it would work well.
