I have a 2009 jeep grand cherokee and want to install a front trailer hitch to carry a fishing rod/cooler rig. What do you have that is a simple install and light.

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31047 is currently the only front receiver we carry for your 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This receiver is rated for a tongue weight of up to 300lbs which should be more than enough for your fishing rods and cooler rig.
I recommend a Hitch Cover # 22282 or Hitch Step # WT81BS1XL be kept inside the receiver when not in use. This will eliminate the whistle that front receivers will often produce on the empty receiver.
