If you have ever put a ball mount in your hitch on your 2021 Toyota Tacoma and there was no interference, then you will be fine to use the BumpStep XL # WT81BS1XL. You will be able to see it in your rear view mirror, but it will not block a large part of your view because it's 24" long x 3-1/2" tall. This will be nothing compared to a bike rack or cargo carrier. If you want to make sure it will not interfere, go with this one # CARR190011B. This folds up so you don't have to remove it every time you back up and this will not show up in the rear view mirror.
I've used this step and it's pretty neat! Check out my review video to see how it works!
