Getting to your gear shouldn’t mean unloading every bike. The Saris Glide EX tilts down easily—even with bikes loaded—using a single trigger on the hand grip. One squeeze and the rack glides back smoothly, stopping at a 34.5-degree angle for full cargo access and plenty of ground clearance. It’s a simple motion you can do with one hand, so errands and trail stops stay quick and easy.

Each bike rides solidly in its own set of anti-sway cradles with three ratcheting straps that grab the top tube and seat post. This keeps the bikes from rocking or rubbing into each other. A threaded hitch pin locks the rack to the receiver and removes play in the hitch, so you won’t hear rattles or see wobble on the road.

Built to haul family rides or friend groups, the Glide EX carries up to four bikes at 35 lbs each. Dual arms spaced 12-9/16" apart and 6-1/2" between bikes give enough separation to prevent contact while keeping everything compact. The 25-1/2" arm length provides solid support for full-size frames without overhang.

When the ride’s done, pull the top lever to fold the arms down. That keeps the rack out of the way for parking or garage storage. The included sleeve adapts the shank for both 1-1/4" (Class II only) and 2" hitch receivers, so you can move it between setups without extra parts. At just 37 lbs, it’s light enough to handle solo.

The Glide EX protects both bikes and rack with keyed-alike locks. A locking hitch pin secures the rack itself, while an integrated cable threads through all your bike frames and tucks neatly inside the mast when not in use. Everything locks with the same key, keeping the system simple and secure.

Ratings & Reviews
this rack is great< super easy to use and will hold all five of our bikes. Although, to get all five bikes on it does take some creative solutions to get our little kids bikes on there. We have two mountain bikes, one hybrid bike and two kid bikes.
