Question:

Would this bike fit a 2023 Hyundai Tucson with a class 3 hitch? Would the hatch be able to clear the rack loaded with four bikes? How is the quality of this rack? I cant find many reviews here or elsewhere to determine if this rack is more reliable than other 4-bike hanging style racks that can swing/tilt away.

Hello again Michelle. The Saris Glide EX Bike Rack # SA774 will indeed fit a 2023 Hyundai Tucson with a class 3 hitch. The tilt feature will allow the hitch to open and close normally.

Saris bike racks are definitely good quality. They are all made here in the USA. I would put the quality of their racks up there with other major brands like Thule or Yakima. They are reliable, durable, and known to be user-friendly. They do come with a lifetime warranty. Generally, I do recommend using a platform-style rack for carrying 4 bikes, but if you want a hanging-style rack the Saris is definitely a good choice.

Since we are on the topic, my personal recommendation for a 4-bike rack would be the Kuat NV 2.0 # BA22B-BA02B. I have been using this rack as my personal rack for about 4 years now and I have been very happy with it. hatch clearance on the Subaru is not a problem. Loading and unloading bikes is very easy and it looks good on the back of the car.
