Approved for use on cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and motorhomes - not approved for fifth wheels, travel trailers, or flat-towed vehicles

The Sport Rider SE2 platform-style hitch bike rack makes it simple to carry 2 fat tire electric bikes on the rear of your vehicle. This bolstered steel rack is easy to use, and it features locking frame hooks and heavy-duty wheel holders with welded gussets to reinforce the rack so that it can handle the extra weight and size of your fat tire electric bikes. A locking hitch pin with an anti-rattle system tightens the rack's shank to your hitch receiver to prevent it from rattling around inside the receiver.

Locking, Ratcheting Hooks

hooks

Constructed of rugged steel with a sleek black powder coat finish, the Sport Rider SE2 uses locking frame hooks to secure your bikes. The ratcheting hooks are easily adjusted along the vertical mast and lock securely in place. The push buttons allow the hooks to slide up the ratcheting system to allow for bike removal. The lock cores keep the hooks from being moved up or down on the mast to deter theft. The hooks are different sizes and each one functions independently, meaning the rack can carry 2 bikes of the same or different heights.

Adjustable Wheel Holders

fat tire Wheel Holders

The wheel holders are wider than standard cradles and will hold tires up to 5" wide. These holders accommodate bicycles with wheelbases up to 60", and you can adjust the wheel hoops by sliding them along the horizontal arms. They are secured in place with hand knobs. Velcro-like hook-and-loop straps secure your bike's wheels to the holders.

Folding, Tilting Design

tilting design

The rack tilts, with or without bikes loaded, for easy access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. Simply remove the pivot pin, pull the bottom quick-release spring pin, and lower the rack.

folding design

The rack also folds up against the back of your vehicle when it's not in use. To raise the rack, just pull the upper quick-release spring pin and lift.

Easy Installation with Locking Hitch Pin

The Sport Rider SE2 easily installs in your hitch with the included locking hitch pin. Just slide the shank into your receiver and insert the hitch pin. The frame hook locks and the hitch lock are conveniently keyed alike.

1450E Anti-Wobble

An integrated anti-wobble handle on the front of the base unit tightens the rack's shank to your hitch receiver to prevent it from rattling around inside the receiver. You don't need to pull out a wrench every time you install the rack on your hitch - just turn the easy-to-access handle to keep the rack from rattling. A second lever secures the two-bike extension to the base of the rack.

The included 8' long cable attaches to the hitch pin to help secure the bikes to Sport Rider rack.

Video Transcript for Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2 Electric Fat Bike Rack Review

Collin: Hey, everyone. I'm Collin here at etrailer. Today we're going to take a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Two Fat Electric Bike Rack. This bike rack was designed to be able to handle both the weight and tire width of an electric fat tire bike. Now, because we don't have one of those in studio, we do have an E-bike right here, and then also a fat tire bike right here just to show you it'll handle the width of our fat tire bike and the weight from our E-bike.Obviously, a fat tire E-bike is going to weigh a little bit more than your standard fat tire bike, or even your standard E-bike, but if you do have one of those fat tire E-bikes, as long as it weighs under 80 pounds without the battery installed, you're going to be able to haul it on this rack. Hollywood Racks does recommend removing that battery during transport, and just stowing it in your vehicle. The maximum tire width for our bike rack is going to be 5" for your fat tire E-bikes. As you can see over here with our standard E-bike, the tire is a lot smaller compared to the cradle, but there is nothing to worry about.

They just have a maximum width on their rating, no minimum. You have the hook and loop strap securing it as well as that frame hook pushing down, and making sure that it can't turn at all inside the cradle. It's also going to come with an eight foot cable lock, which you would just use all that length to wrap it around the frames of both of your bikes. And then, you would loop it through itself on this end. And then, it comes all the way down and actually locks onto your hitch pin using the same lock. For those times where you might need to access the trunk of your car when your bike rack is fully loaded, you will be able to tilt this away from your vehicle. However, like I said, those fat E-bikes can get a bit heavy, so if you have it fully loaded and you don't think you can handle it, don't be afraid to ask for that extra set of hands. All we're going to do is come and then first remove this safety snapper pin.

And then there is a pin on the right side of our rack. We're just going to push up a little bit, pull the pin, and then let it tilt away. From here, we can come to the hatch, and open it up. You can see the clearance we have with our vehicle right here. Depending on that handlebar spread, or where the pedals are set, it may be a little bit closer, or even farther away.

There is plenty of space to come in and grab any cargo, groceries, anything like that, that we might need to get. When tilting it up you want to make sure that you grab a hold of the bike rack, and never the bikes installed, so I'm just going to grab that mast in the middle and push up until it locks into place. Don't forget to replace that snapper pin. When you're putting the snapper pin in and taking it out, it might help out a little bit to raise up on the bike rack just to get it up and under. On the backside of our shank we're going to have the anti-wobble lever. And when you tighten this up that's going to be your anti-rattle bolt of sorts. It's going to take away the shake and play from our bike rack even when we're traveling at high speeds.

What it does is as you tighten it down, it pulls your hitch pin back into the hole making sure that it takes away that shake and play. One thing you do want to make sure of when tightening down your anti-wobble lever is that when you're finished with it you want it to be facing either the left, or the right. If you have it pointing up that could take away from your tilt away feature, so you may not be able to get full rear hatch access. And if you have it pointing down, that could take away from your ground clearance. It's going to make it a little bit easier to drag on the ground if you're going over speed bumps, or even up a curb into your driveway. Each bike is going to have three points of contact to the bike rack. At the top of each bike, we're going to have a padded frame hook. Now, this hook has a nice soft padding right here. It's going to help protect the frame of your bike from any type of scratches, or abrasions. It's putting downward force on top of your bike. It's just forcing it down into the trays making sure that it's secure. If you can see me shaking the bike, it's hardly moving at all.The other two points of contact are going to be these hook and loop straps. We have one for each wheel. How it installs is it comes over top of the tire like so, and they are extended to be able to accommodate for those fat tire bikes up to 5". Loops in right here on itself. You just pull up, get some tension on there, and then secure it. Again, there is going to be one on each wheel. With the bikes unloaded, we can take a closer look at the rack. Our cradles are going to be adjustable back and forth. You just come down to this hand knob that's on top. Once we loosen that up enough, we can actually slide it back and forth. That'll help accommodate bikes of different lengths, and just be able to get a wider variety of bikes on your rack. With any hitch mounted accessory, you are going to have added length to your vehicle. Now, we're going to give you a measurement from the face of your hitch to the outer most part of our rack when it's folded down like this. That's 27 1/2" added on to your hitch. Now, we can cut down on that space by forwarding this bike rack up towards the vehicle. The first thing we got to do is fold down this center support bar right here. There is a pin we have to remove right there. Then we fold it down and replace it. From here, we just come in and grab that same pin we used to tilt it away. Once we pull that, we can fold it up until we hear a lock in place. We'll measure again from the face of the hitch to the outermost part, which is going to be 16 1/4". That is a pretty big difference. That is something you want to keep in mind for any close quarter situations like if you want to park in your garage without removing your bike rack. The entire bike rack is going to have a sturdy steel construction with a black powder coat finish. That's going to help it resist rust and corrosion. It's also going to add to the looks of your vehicle, and just gives it that nice sleek look. We actually have a stop on the top of our shank right there. That helps you with lining up the hitch pin hole with the hitch pin hole on our bike rack.I'll go ahead and pull it out real quick, so we can take a look at it. We can see these slotted hitch pin holes they have that allow for maximum adjustability when it comes to inserting this bike rack. When we bring the pin through you can actually see that it has that full adjustability, so when you line it up with the hitch pin hole and begin to tighten the anti-wobble system, it begins to bring the hitch pin back until it's jammed inside the hitch pin hole. When inserting your hitch, you just get it into your 2" by 2" receiver. And then, you just push in until that stop is touching the face of your hitch. From there, everything is going to be lined up. We just insert our pin, tighten up our anti-wobble system, and put our lock on the other side as well. As we tighten this lever up, like I said, it's going to pull that hitch pin back and jam it inside the hitch pin hole, which is an effective way to take out that shake and play. When it comes to loading and unloading your bikes, I do want to share with you guys a little bit of a tip. Personally, this is what I would do. There is a Phillips head screw up top on the top of our mast right here. That's to help prevent the hooks from coming all the way off. Now, because that if you have an E-bike, or a fat E-bike those are going to be pretty heavy, and it could get difficult to maneuver those around under the hooks without hitting your vehicle, possibly damaging it.What I'm going to do is I'm going to take the screw out. Then I'm going to set it aside. You don't necessarily have to put it back in. It's not going to make your hooks fit any looser. From there, I can take my hooks all the way off. I'm going to set them to the side, and get my first bike loaded. We're also going to lower the center mast right here. We're not going to replace the pin. We're just going to leave it set like that. With all of that out of the way, we can just come from the back and get our bikes loaded without struggling at all. Once you get your bike in place, bring the center mast back up, and then we're going to grab the longer hook, and put that on. We're not going to get it tight yet. We're just going to get it, so it holds the frame of our bike in place like so. You see we still have some play right there. And then, go to the bottom of your mast and replace the pin. Now, we'll secure our hook and loop straps. And then at the top with your frame hook because it is still a bit loose when it's making contact with the frame of your bike we're just going to go one more click down. You don't want to over tighten these because then that could jam the button when you try to go unload your bikes. It could get stuck and just be a hassle. That's secure. We'll move on to the next one. Like I said, replacing the Phillips head screw is optional, but for demonstration purposes we're just going to go ahead and get it installed.Thank you all for watching. That's going to do it for our look at the Sport Rider SE Two Bike Rack for Electric Fat Tire Bikes from Hollywood Racks.

I received my Hollywood rack in good order. I live in Canada so having to return anything is a real hassle. I like dealing with etrailer because they do their own research on product quality and don't try to sell anything that won't work for me. I narrowed my search down to two racks and I chose the Hollywood for my 60# fat tire electric bike with 20" wheels. Once I cranked the handle, there was absolutely no wobble whatsoever.I mounted it onto my Kia Sorento with the Curt class III 2" hitch.(Also purchased from etrailer.) 633381

This is very well engineered. Lots of thought put into design. No wobble. We have an ebike & regular bike. We take the battery off the ebike when we transport the bikes. The rack folds up against the SUV when not in use. Very happy with this rack. 565795

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

The rack arrived as advertised. Assembly was easy. The rack is well constructed and heavy duty. I'm very impressed. The only thing to watch out for is the height of your vehicle's hitch receiver. My Chevy Tahoe receiver is in the middle of the bumper. Once the rack is installed, the bikes are pretty high off the ground. This could be a challenge for some people lifting heavy E-bikes into place. I definitely recommend this product. 707514

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

This is a great sturdy rack. It performs well and comes with all necessary accessories. My bikes clear the tailgate when leaned out and they are easier to load when leaned out. The small pin inserted below the lean-out option seems like and after-thought and sometimes is a bit difficult to pull out without taking the pressure off it. It should be incorporated into the main release pins, which work easily. The rack is a bit heavy to lift ~50 pounds to insert into your hitch, but likely needs to be that heavy in order to be strong enough to hold electric bikes. I would have given it 5 stars if the "after-thought" lower pin was not needed or was easier to install. I would buy this rack again. The bikes feel secure while transporting them. errailer is an excellent web site to order from. Their prices are good and they offer a tremendous amount of information about the rack and how it performs. Way better than [on-line retailer] for buying a reck. 678150

Owned my Hollywood bike rack for a year now and hands down this is one solid unit.--has many adjustments for small and large bicycles .---The easy on and off clamps are failsafe.---The fold-up locking pins are a cinch while folding the rack into a smaller footprint.---- The included bike and hitch locks are a real plus and the built in hitch clamp removes 100% of rack sway. Overall a high quality rack for a real fair price.----Gordon Lehman 576997

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

Just purchased a Hollywood Sport Rider SE-2 From etrailer.com. Am quite pleased with the quality of the product , the easy assembly, and installation. Plan to use it to carry 2 bikes from home to wherever, did not want to carry in the bed of my pickup as did not want to damage bikes or truck bed. I am old guy and have no problem loading bikes by myself. And another plus is locking hitch and also locking cable for bikes. So easy, safe, and secure makes this product a great choice. Another great choice would be etrailor.com , The ease of navigating this site, ordering process helpful and caring staff is why I will order from this site again. Thanks etrailer.com 130476

We installed our E bike rack very quickly using the direction sheet included. All the parts were easy to locate and connect. The hardest part was figuring out which bike would fit best first on, but once that was figured out, it is so easy to load and secure the bikes. We have had two other bike rack systems over the years and this product overall deserves a five star rating! 664469

Prompt shipping, knowledgeable staff, good prices... Choose the Hollywood HR1450Z-E because I have a 2" hitch and wanted something sturdy for my e-bike. Also purchased the Hollywood rack valet which makes it easier to put on / off the vehicle. Rack seems very well made & secure on my 2011 CX-7. 677349

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

This product met my expectations. It is extremely well engineered, high quality and very easy to assemble. I like the simple design and that it is very solid when attached to the car thanks to the 2" hitch. This was the one thing I was concerned most about but not any more it is a solid attachment. It is very easy to load bikes and lock down boys and girl frames no problem also like the way it folds up into a compact package which is easy to Cary and store. This will really make transporting our bikes from place to place a whole lot easier . If you are looking for a sturdy bike carrier this is the one to buy. Maybe a little pricey but once you get it installed and use it you will forget about what it cost. 186310

This bike rack is fantastic very good quality and exceeds my expectations. Only one slight flaw, the fabric tie downs for the wheels are poor quality, I had to call the company for 3 replacements which the company replaced very quickly for me at no cost, however the new straps could still be of better quality. Still a great product and Co. To deal with, I would buy another one if I had to.

I did a lot of research looking for the right bike rack that would hold 2 e bikes securely. The bikes have fenders, so a lot of the other brands wouldn't work where the hook grabs the front tire. This rack is great. Well built, solid and easily holds our 2 e bikes. Great features on the rack as well, tilt and no wobble, along with the locks and cable. Instructions were good and an easy project to put the rack together. Rack was shipped in a good protective box and arrived on time. 495795

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

Rack is great, the quality control is not. The rack is straightforwardly engineered- there is no exotic workmanship or hardware to be found, which is fine by me, since replacement parts should be easy to find/make. Heavy and strong with a higher weight capacity than most. Highly adjustable to different bike sizes. Folds up pretty compactly considering its size. Included locking hitch pin and cable is nice. Anti-wobble mechanism works very well and is super easy to use. ISSUES: tilt-down feature did not tilt bikes far enough away to be useful (on my '98 4Runner anyway). Directions could be better thought-out, illustrations were small and overly dark. QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES: 1. the anti-wobble handle was installed facing the wrong way. Had to be re-intalled in order to function. 2. The anti-wobble "U" shaped bracket inside the hitch was oriented the wrong way. Had to be removed and re-oriented. 3. One of the pins did not have a tether (all the others do, which prevents you from losing them.) The first 2 issues were easily fixed, and the 3rd I can figure out something, but come on, it's a $300 rack, inspect it already. Despite this, very happy with purchase. 143334

Received the hitch very quickly. Everything was in good condition. Easy to put together and adjust. I would have preferred that the latch that comes down over the bike frame was the type that use a key lock, but considering the price, this will work. Using the tilt feature, I am able to open the rear hatch of my Outback even with my 29'r Cannondale on the mount closest to the car. I used the rack on 30 miles of back country, rough roads. By the nature of the way racks are mounted, they wiggle around a bit. Glad I got the 2" model. I think the 1 1/4" with a sleeve to fit a 2" would end up fatigued if used on rough roads. 107714

Got this rack for transporting my e-bike. It holds it very securely. Have to remove the clamp adjusters so I can manhandle the beast onto the rack. Holds both my bikes perfectly. Have dealt with etrailer in the past and have always been pleased. Great service! 667953

We have two oversized heavy comfort e-bikes that need a stronger rack. The etrailer product fit the bill perfectly. It fit great on our 2011 GMC Terrain and works a treat. I'm not a mechanical guy, but even I was able to read the instructions, watch the youtube videos, and install the rack with a torque wrench as per specs. We have had some nice trips with our bikes. Our bikes were made by Day 6, and the owner of the company personally recommended your product. Thanks for the quality item. 252860

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

Shipped on time by etrailer, setup was easy and was installed in less than an hour. Drove from Quartzsite, AZ to Benson AZ, with two 70 pound (EACH!) electric bikes. I had the rear camera on and watching. No shaking or shifting. One of the ebikes was a woman's bike. I reversed the position of the frame hooks so the shorter of the 2 ebikes hooked to the low frame on the the woman's bike. Worked perfectly! Overall, an excellent experience. 612722

Comes with a hitch lock AND cable lock long enough to wrap around bikes and then to be fed through the designated hole in the base of the rack. Four keys are given that open both provided locks, so there is no worrying if it is the correct key when you pull them out of storage. I have a heavier enduro mountain bike and my rack/hitch holds it without shaking and rattling, but also holds road bikes just as well. And if I ever meet two other people who would like to tear it up on the trails with me on a regular basis, I know I can come back here and buy the attachment for an additional two more bikes. A year later and it's never been removed, is rust free, and working like it did on day 1. By going through etrailer.com and not the car dealer to buy the hitch, install that myself, then buy the rack in store and install that too, I saved hundreds! Their products are quality at a fraction of others' prices, with great installation videos that helped me get 'er done (I'm definitely not a mechanic). Couldn't recommend this rack/etrailer.com more. 556616

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

We had shopped many of the well known brands of Bike racks and was able to use etrailer to view videos on each one of the products. We found this very helpful to actually see how it fit on the car and also how well it did or did not function in use. We ended up choosing the Hollywood brand, a two bike model that has the ability to expand. It was important that it tipped and folded flat so we shopped for those qualities as well as durability. We live in Colorado, use the rack almost every weekend and have a variety of weather conditions. After 2 weeks we are very happy with our purchase. It is sturdy, fits my Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly and is easy to fold and tilt. I am small in stature so being able to maneuver around the rack and load and unload the bikes was important for me. Great rack and met all our needs. Note to buyers, if you have a newer vehicle with the backup object detector, the buzzing when you back up can make you a little crazy. 369377

The people at etrailer really know their stuff. Great product information, illustrations, guides, FAQs, and customer reviews. A well put together web store. I have brought several items from them over the years. The ebike rack is beefy and works slick. It was fun to put together. 235914

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

This rack is strong, all metal, balanced really well, stable and holds two bikes perfectly. It folds up into a low profile without the bikes and can easily be moved away from my truck for easy entrance to the back. We have two electric bikes which are longer than average by quite a bit and the moveable wheel holders can be adjusted to the exact length needed. The bikes are held tight and move very little over bumps or poor roads. The lock is just the right length, simple and easy to use. The ordering - customer service and prompt shipping was very pleasant and quick, and the price is lower than the better known brands, but I believe it is a much better rack. The only thing that is a con for me is the instruction manual for assembly...not so great...took quite a while to put together, but, that being said, all the parts were there and every part lends itself to excellent stability and safety. I recommend this company and the product. Really glad we found it. 233196

Simple and strong... I waited too long to buy this item. Real necessity if you are going to try and be active with an electric bike. The best way transport 2 heavy electric bikes. I was sent 2 of the same sides of the fat bike conversion kit. I am waiting to get the correct left hand side to complete my experience. 667604

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

Good recommendation by etrailer staff (phone) to meet some specific needs for an e-bike (heavier than usual bikes) traveling on two different vehicles. The Hollywood rack is quite sturdy, high quality, well thought out, and seems to be stable while driving. Took a while to assemble - instructions are difficult for what is otherwise a fairly straightforward design. E-bike is low step thru (girls style - no upper tube) and I was concerned if vertical holder would be short enough. One of the vertical hold downs is shorter than the other and it worked like a charm. Comprehensive locking system that is effective if you need to be away from the car for a bit. Rack is probably overkill if you are driving cross town to the trail but if you are planning more lengthy travels or bumpy roads this is the way to go. I'm looking forward to some RV road trips taking the bikes for multiple days. This looks like exactly what is needed. Only improvement might be more recline for opening rear hatches and doors - will have to remove bikes but not rack to get into back of Sprinter van. 151699

The HR1450E bike rack is a bit heavy, and it's a bit big and it takes a few minutes to unfold and fold it open and closed.. BUT it is truly the best rack I have ever used. I love it! When you are done securing your very expensive bike's to the rack- it is not going any where! and it's easy to lock the whole thing up and go in and have lunch on the road. I recommend it! 332239

This is an outstanding product. I have owned several top brands however, this is my first 'Hollywood' rack. I would the quality, price point and value, fit / finish, and attention to detail superior to similar products. As others have noted, it is heavy but the engineering and duty of this product necessitate the related weight. Do not hesitate to purchase this rack, even if it is your first Hollywood product as you will be pleased with the quality and performance. Thank you for reading. 671092

This product was perfect for my heavy e-bike (Stromer ST-1) and was capable of holding 2 of them at 55 lbs each. The instructions for assembly were straight forward and all parts were easily identified. Once assembled, the rack was easy to attach to my hitch and easy to take off. I loved the fact that it folded down to allow the tailgate to open. I would definitely buy again, and, in fact, will have to do so since I lost my home in the recent Northern Cal wildfire and the rack was in the garage!! I will be ordering exactly the same product. 454968

Very sturdy, well-made rack. It is easy to assemble, but e-trailer has a good assembly video available, if needed. This rack is rated to be able to carry two 80 pound bikes, and I was unable to find any bicycle rack that was comparably rated. The racks that I could find that were close, as far as weight carrying capacity, were hundreds of dollars more. So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase. 454779

Pro: Holds a heavy cargo bike with a long wheelbase. Con: The foam padding on the arm holders broke apart on our first road trip and scratched both bikes. Very cumbersome to adjust wheelbase. Heavy with cheap velcro straps and foam padding. I've owned several racks over the past few decades and this by far the worst. The only benefit is that it can accommodate a heavy bike with a long wheelbase. It's been over a year since I purchased this so maybe there are other nicer options out there that will fit a cargo bike. I would recommend looking at other products. Though Etrailer customer service and transaction was very good. 365819

This is one solid, high capacity rack. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it's pretty darn heavy being all steel. The fit and finish is top quality. If you've watched the assembly video, it's a cinch to put together. All the bolts are metric (made in China like everything these days), so you need to right sockets or end wrenches, but they give you the SAE equivalents when that works. I also want to mention what a pleasure it is to deal with etrailer. These guys are top notch. My order shipped the day it was made, and they follow through. 425065

After a year of use, my opinion has changed. This is a solid rack that will haul heavy ebikes anywhere you wish to go. As I write, we are heading home from what will be a 1600 mile trip to Colorado with the bikes.

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

I cannot say enough about the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 that I purchased over a year ago - it handles a total of 160 pounds for our 2 eBikes that weigh 80 pounds each. I have not seen any other such rack on the market that even comes close to handling eBikes with this much weight. The attached picture shows how these two bikes travel on the back of our truck. The racks hold the bike sturdy while traveling on a major highway at 65mphs. Even on bumpy dirt roads, this rack holds the eBike in the same position until they are removed. The other great feature is the quick flexibility, of the tire and frame holder, to make adjustments for one or two eBikes being transported. The tilt down feature makes easy loading/unloading of the 80 pound bikes for one person. It's also nice to be able to leave the rack in place by flipping it up when not in use, or leaving it horizontal when opening the tailgate of the truck. And when it does need to be removed, it's so simple to unlock it from the truck hitch and remove with minimal effort. After one year of full outdoor exposure (rain, snow and sun), there is no sign of any rust or defect on the rack, or the locking mechanism. I highly recommend this particular rack if you intend to transport any type of heavy duty eBike, you'll be glad you did when you don't see any wild movements while traveling down the road. 468152

Totally worth the investment, as I can now port this rack from my pickup truck, to our 5th Wheel hitch, and our Volvo HDT RV towing vehicle. To get the rack to fit on the 2 RV rigs hitches, Ill have to obtain a hitch reducing sleeve that I know eTrailer also stocks. This racks just keeps paying for itself over and over again.

Thanks for your follow and reply. Very happy to hear that you are pleased with this bike rack, but I did want to let you know that Hollywood racks only rates this rack for use behind a driving vehicle and a motorhome. It is not rated for use on a towed vehicle, or on an RV. If you would like to consider a different bike rack the Swagman Escapee # S64693
Swagman Escapee 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
$399.00
is a great choice because it is rated for use on RV's and trailers. It does offer many of the same features as your Hollywood Racks, but is has a 60 pound per bike weight capacity, and may not be compatible for bikes with fenders.

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

Product was just as the etrailer rep presented when he recommended it. Arrived quickly, easy to assemble and load. We drove 1700 miles through 4 states (Ohio, W. Virginia, Virginia & N. Carolina) so we saw our fill of construction and rough roads. This includes interstate & local back roads in each state. The bikes are 2 cruisers old style. They never shifted or loosened. I did have to add foam on the ladies bike as the chain guard protruded enough to contact the brace. This is a bike design issue. The only scrape was the handle to tighten the hitch pin, try not to leave it hanging down. The large handle bars did limit access to the rear window, but the tilt function solved that. Pins got tight in the heat & ocean salt, light oil solved that. Very good product, service and guidance. I'll use this vendor again for other such need. 283556

Unlike other product descriptions and instructions, etrailer.com's instructions were clear and well illustrated. I was easily able to follow the instructions and assemble the bike rack in less than an hour. I was most pleased with the customer support offered by etrailer.com. I was unsure of the best bike rack for my needs (an ebike) so I called the support number and had a well informed representative guide me to the "best fit" rack for my car and bikes. It makes such a difference to get it right the first time and having someone to talk to makes all the difference. 646975

Review from a similar Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 in Hitch Bike Racks

This might be somewhat premature, but if I don't write it now, I won't write one at all. I noticed there are many complaints about assembly instructions. I wonder if they recently got someone to rewrite these because, even though I'm not a genius, I thought they were some of the best instructions I have ever seen. The one trick I would recommend is to tear off the "Parts Included" sheet and place it side-by-side with the instructions because the instructions constantly refer to part numbers and the parts themselves are unlabeled - you need a quick reference. Uninitiated, it took me 30 minutes; if doing it a second time, it would take half that. As for quality and materials, parts are all snug and tight and properly aligned (as a rule, I am generally ready with my drill to "fix" all the items that fail to line up). If this was a car, I would call it excellent fit and finish. It is as heavy-duty as most buyers state and I expect it to last a very long time. All adjustable parts are readily adjustable and lock down very tight and secure. I really like the design, which seems very well thought-out. And this is from one who constantly grouses about why they hire such stupid people to design things. As of this writing, I am thrilled and 100% certain we made the right choice to carry my wife's 65 lb electric along with my own standard model. Happy trails! 198390

We started putting it together and noticed "on the instructions". Not to be used on a towed vehicle" This was the reason we purchased it in the first place. We put it together anyway, the reason being, we might be using it around our area and would keep it than for just that purpose. I have a women's bike and my husband purchased an electric bike with a low step through. With both bikes needing to use the lower bar, it would not work. It would be helpful to put this warning on your instructional video to save $ and not waste time: Not to be used on a towed camper or car. 156008
