The brackets are really terrible. They are not a universal fit. But I knew this before I bought it. I only need the 44 inch tube. I had a metal fabricator cut and bend two brackets thay will sit on the inside of the truck's frame C channel. I cannot for the life me understand why these brackets are designed the way they are. Simply go to a fabricator and have a 1/4 steel plate cut to 13.25" × 6". Then have them bend it 90 degrees with 2.75" overlap so that it seats on inside of C channel. This is so logical that I can't understand why I even need to point this out.
Item was delivered today. Seems to be beefy and well made. It did have some scratches, perhaps from shipping or packaging. However, it's ok. I plan on welding it on to my motorhome soon.
