When shower sump water backs up in a cramped locker, you need a pump that can mount out of the bilge. The Whale Gulper 320 installs high and dry, self-primes, and moves graywater through non-choke valves without an internal filter screen to clog.
When the bilge area is cramped, routine checks turn into a knuckle-busting chore. The Gulper 320 is designed to be remote mounted in a dry location up to 3 meters above the suction point. That placement moves inspection and service to a reachable spot instead of the lowest, wettest corner, so maintenance happens without pulling gear out of the boat.
Internal filters clog when shower and graywater carry hair and gels, then the system backs up right when you notice it least. Gulper valve technology uses a large diaphragm, non-choke valves, and a non-return valve built into the pump head, eliminating the need for an internal filter screen. Debris passes through the valve system without the clogging common to mesh strainers. Water keeps moving without strainer cleanup, so drainage stays clear with fewer stoppages. An external 19 mm (3/4") multi-directional inlet strainer is included to help protect the suction line from larger debris while remaining easy to access and clean.
Intermittent flow and air in the line can leave a pump running without water. The Gulper 320 self-primes and can run dry without damage, keeping it functional in stop-start drain cycles. It keeps operating through those gaps, so you are not treating a dry moment like a failure.
Bilge and graywater systems fail fast when the electrical side is installed incorrectly. This pump runs on 24V DC, calls for a 5 amp fuse, and specifies 16 AWG cable size. Following those specifications supports proper operation once wired to spec instead of creating avoidable electrical issues.
Routing hose in tight lockers gets complicated when fittings do not match the system already in place. The pump head supports 3/4" (19 mm) or 1" (25 mm) hose and delivers 246 GPH. It moves bilge and graywater through standard line sizes without forcing a full replumb of the run.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Whale Gulper 320 Remote Bilge Pump. Folks, this is a 24-volt pump. Now, this has got a great easy remote mount for easy access and it can be mounted in a dry location up to three meters above the suction point. Now, a pump of this size is gonna be perfect for vessels probably about 12 meters in length max, give or take.
So that gives you an idea of the size of everything. It's got easy maintenance on the whole unit because there's a non-choke valve. There's no filters to block or clean. It's a self-priming pump. It can actually run dry without damaging the pump.
So that's impressive. They do include a nice strainer. It uses a 3/4-inch or 19-millimeter strainer, and that's the same with the inlet and outlet. You have the 19-millimeter or 3/4-inch. But if you go up to the barb fitting, you could put a one-inch or 25-millimeter hose over that as well.
