Question:

I have a 2008 F-350 super duty dually w/ a Knapheide 6108D54J1 service body. It is a 34inch wide frame. Will this hitch fit w/ the required drilling? Thanks.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15845 is a custom fit application for a 2008 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis like what you have. I'm not 100% sure what all comes on the Knapheide 6108D54J1 Service Body so I'm attaching a photo of some of the dimensions of this hitch for you to check out and compare with your truck body.

If this doesn't work then the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C37CR might be a valid alternative. This is also designed for service body vehicles but had adjustable brackets that can be welded onto the crosstube to fit a variety of styles. This has a crosstube length of 44" so you could slide them in along the tube a bit prior to welding. You'll want to have a professional welder look at this setup though to make sure it's safe.
