Hi David; the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR82PV you looked at is what we would have previously recommended. However, we have run into compatibility issues so I can't say with absolute certainty it will work as a plug and play replacement.

Since everything has switched to the new R32 refrigerant following the 2025 EPA regulations now is a good time to swap out the entire system. This avoids the need for a complete replacement down the road if a different component fails. The old R410A air distribution boxes and thermostats are not compatible with the R32 refrigerant, and those parts won't be around for long since they are no longer being produced.

For an R32 replacement I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System. Assuming you want to stick with a 13,500 Btu unit you can choose from the following:

-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # ADV95SR

-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # ADV23SR

The single zone system works with ducted and ductless setups and the manual works with ductless only. Both come with the AC unit, air distribution box, and start capacitor.

Any big trips planned with your Sightseer this summer?

How is the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # ADV23SR set up for ducted operation. That is what I have.

@DavidR the manual one is not designed for ducted. You need the Single Zone # ADV95SR.

@RobinH OK Thank You. Same question for the ADV255R system. The pictures on your website show vents on the bottom unit venting into the room where the unit is located. How do I set it up to vent into a ducted system?

@DavidR the ADB has the louvered vent which always remains open and then 3 registers. Closing the registers will divert air into your ducts.
