Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the TriMax Deluxe Hitch Pin 42 inch Hitches. There's not a whole lot to this. What really sets this one apart, is it does have a little notch at the bottom. Which is going to rest up against your hitch receiver a little bit more flush. It's gonna be made of a hardened steel and a triple chrome plated on top. And that's gonna resist against rust and corrosion.
So it's not gonna look gross. It'll stay nice and pretty. We're gonna have a five eighths inch diameter. So, we don't really have a whole lot of play in our hitch receiver. It does come with a clip right here too.
And the whole usable span of it's gonna be two and five eighths of an inch. There really isn't a whole lot to this. This isn't gonna be for your accessories that have a threaded portion on your shank. This is just gonna be for your straight through five eighths inch diameter holes on your accessories. This is just your basic hitch pin.
It does have some extra added protection and make sure it's not gonna rust away. But if you have some higher end accessories, like our B&W Tow & Stow, I do really recommend putting a lock on it. It has multiple different ball sizes. So, twice as many people are gonna have a use for that size. And it's really, really nice.
You wanna protect it. They do make one that has a lock on it. And what sets this apart from the other ones is it's a code and not a key. So you don't have to worry about the core getting rusted out. You don't have to worry about losing the keys. I always do. All you have to do is just make sure you remember that code. If you're in the market for a simple hitch pin for your accessories on the two inch hit receiver you may have, the TriMax Lock Deluxe is gonna get the job done..

The 5/8” chrome plated steel hitch pin does exactly what it is supposed to do and looks good as well. It’s economical to buy.
