Quite a few places on the hitch that were missing paint.
I’d rate the installation as semi difficult as getting the hitch to align with the 4 mounting points was not easy. When the hitch is installed I have about 7 inches of ground clearance to the ground.
I installed this to mount a bike rack, I hope that I find some bike rack that doesn’t drag on any entering or leaving main roads. .
Shipping was fast. Shipping box and hitch came in perfect condition. As others have said, I did not need to lower the exhaust. I had another person to help install it, which I recommend due to the weight of the hitch. Very pleased that the hitch receiver is 2” with the higher weight capacity. Works perfectly for carrying my two bikes.
2025 Kia Soul. Looks nice and fit as advertised. I didn’t have to move anything to get it mounted. I didn’t have anyone helping but another body would have made it easier.
The passenger side bolt flange was bent in a half inch out of the box. I put it in my vise and bent it back. For someone without a vise this might have been an impossible problem resulting in a return. I still gave you five stars because the hitch is exactly as advertised and a small, fixable manufacturing defect is not a big deal.
I installed this hitch on my Kia Soul last year to accommodate a 4-bike rack. It is heavy with a span of several feet, so I really should have had a second person help me. The job would have been easier with a second person, but ultimately it was simple enough to install by myself using basic tools. I have since spent an entire mountain biking season using the hitch regularly to haul bikes. I haven't had to think about it at all, which means it's doing its job.
Great install, I was able to install on the ground. Had to remove one rubber bushing to lower exhaust, otherwise was able to get a bolt started without removing slash shields. I did have to remove a 1” piece of the bumper at the center so the hitch can fit properly I did this using tin snips. Took me less than 30 min, only tools used was a socket wrench, tin snips, pry bar and lock tight for safety.
Fit my 2023 Kia Soul perfectly and installed in minutes. I will be using this for a e-bike rack soon. As always etrailer delivered as advertised! Thanks
I purchased this for my Kia soul to tow a utility trailer with two motorcycles on it. This hitch along with the wiring harness have worked out flawlessly and we’re both easy to install by myself and a small hydraulic jack to hold up the hitch during installation.
I ordered this for a 2023 Kia Soul. It arrived on time. The box had a huge hole in the end but I doubt that was e trailers fault. It was still in perfect condition. The best part is it installed without cutting of the lower facia, however, the instructions tell you to cut part of it out. I would try to install it first. One tip I would give is lift it up over the lower fascia then pull it behind it the bolt holes line up once the receiver touches the lower fascia. I used a large floor jack and a helper to lift it into place.

Didn't take as long to install our trailer hitch receiver as we thought, but we did have to have extra tools to drop the muffler and unhook one electronics cable. Overall a good product that fits well. I will use it to haul my electric trike.
This hitch is used to hold a bike rack, so not a lot of weight but it does a great job. More because it is a good fit for the car and does not stick out when not in use. The finish on this hitch is doing well thru the NE winter weather with all the salt and sand on the roads. Good product we ordered another hitch for our new Honda passport a few months back.
I’ve had this for my toad behind a class C RV for a year now. This set up could haul a tank. Great system.
I purchased it for a 1UP bike rack. The receiver is beefy and rock solid, it fit the Soul frame well with no need to drop the muffler, and it sits nicely recessed under the bumper. It helps to have another person to hold the other side in place while you line the bolts up when installing. Great product so far.

With the help of a friend, we installed the hitch in about 30 minutes. Works perfect!

Instalation was easy bolt holes lined up no problem with mounting the hitch..I do have a problem with how low it sets to the ground it is only seven and three quarters off ground...I have a problem with receiver not setting flush with the end of bumper it is inset two and five sixteenth
